I don't think Slenderman intentionally saved Alex, however I do think that the purpose of this video is to show that Slendy isn't associated with Masky. And now we know that there are multiple Masky's.

After Entry... 44, I think. Might have been 43. The one where Slendy directly stares down Alex. Perhaps he's a more... discrete sort of worker for Slendy, as opposed to Masky?
I mean, assuming Masky works for Slendy: Slenderman directly defended Alex because he's just another Masky without the mask.
Assuming the association is broken: Alex works for Slenderman and he was being defended from the Maskies.

Hang on, I recognised the one of them was Tim but was the other one the Masky who returned Jay's camera? I couldn't see his mask properly.
Also, we don't know for sure if it was actually Slendy who "saved" Alex.

Yeah, nice opinion bro, but Tribe Twelve is fucking amazing. The acting my be iffy at times, but that doesn't matter to me, it's really about story and execution of said story. Noah is awesome and TribeTwelve easily has the best production value of any existing series out there. It's easy to follow, genuinely scary, and quite engaging. In my book, TT is the best there is.

I like the effects Tribe Twelve uses and sometimes the main dudes acting is pretty good.

It looks like it was a different Masky. The one that returned Jay's camera was in a black hoodie and mask, with a red face on it, but this masky looked like he was more in brown, and there was the brim of a hat or something. I really liked how menacing Tim got when he was getting in Alex's face. I think that's like, the first genuine show of emotion we've gotten out of a Masky.
Was I the only one who thought they were about to rape Alex?
