I didn't actually see Slendy in the woods so I'm not going to say that it was him. I'm betting they saw something...else, that scared them. I don't see any reason to suspect Slendy saved him or shooed the proxies away.
I swear to God at first, I thought Tim was trying to place a piece of crumpled up paper over Alex's face. I was just thinking "what the fuck is he doing?" and then I realised it was just a rock, silly me.

Judging from the heavy distortion, it was probably Slendy, we just couldn't see him.

I'm just kind of hesitant to say that Slendy was opposing them because that would destroy the proxy theory, which is practically been developed into canon by now by the fans and adopted into other vlogs.

I mean, it was never really implied that the maskies worked for Slendy. They were just kind of vaguely implied to be antagonistic, and people ran with it. In any case, like I said earlier, this doesn't mean they're not working for him. I mean, he could have just called them off because he has more plans for Alex or something. It could mean a multitude of things.
;31315241']Absolutely true, but honestly they didn't seem like they were called off. They seemed like they shit themselves.
Maybe. Even if they aren't working for him, that means Alex probably is, which throws the Proxy idea back onto the table. [editline]24th July 2011[/editline] So according to Jeff's Tumblr, the EMH crew is hanging out with the guy from Tribe Twelve yet again tonight. I don't mean to be a stick in the mud, but holy shit, they're spending so much time together, it kind of makes me think another crossover is inevitable. I mean, every time they have a crossover they say 'This is the last time' but so far they've had another one after they said no more.

Link me this meet-up content.

This entry was pretty much Jay saying "No, shut up. You're all wrong."
Link me this meet-up content.
http://jeffreykoval.com/ It's all over his Tumblr. I like that Jeff actually had the audacity to claim the little meet-up was Slendercon 11 even though it was pretty much only creators, and even then only creators that were his friends. Hardly anybody knew about it. Jeff is kind of a dick too, so no wonder he gets along with Adam.

It was organized by a big group of people and was put in Jersey because of the concentration of creators in that area. It was called Slendercon because creators of these series came from across America to go and hang out for a day. Adam (aka Noah) came from Florida. It's no wonder he stayed there and didn't fly back the next day, because he lives a good distance away. You're making it seem as if it's a negative thing for a big group of friends to get together for once in their life. Chill out a bit, man. EDIT: Oh and if you're wondering why Adam talks about Tribe Twelve when you meet him, what else do you know him from that would be a topic of interesting conversation? Be glad it isn't just awkward as fuck.
Vince is a hipster lumberjack hnnng the singularity of the Slenderverse? Not without Marble Hornets and Victor Surge.

EDIT: Oh and if you're wondering why Adam talks about Tribe Twelve when you meet him, what else do you know him from that would be a topic of interesting conversation? I even know a Slender Creator who lives in Jersey and isn't that far away who he also knows, but didn't invite. It isn't just 'a group of friends hanging out', it's a select group of Slender Creators hanging around and saying that they're at a convention for Slender Man. I'm not making it seem like it's a negative thing for them to just hang out, I'm saying it's a negative thing when Jeff uses phrases like 'Slendercon 2011 - Deal With It' to describe the event. It's disrespectful to the creators who weren't invited, and it's immensely disrespectful to the fans because it makes it seem like they aren't 'important' enough to go to a Slender Man Convention. I'm of the opinion that Adam and Jeff are getting a bit cozy because they've had two crossovers so far, and they even dedicated a big plot device (Box 6) to the sole purpose of having a crossover. Now they're hanging out in person, which leads me to believe that another Crossover will probably occur. He didn't just talk about TribeTwelve when I met him, he brought it up whenever he felt like it. [editline]24th July 2011[/editline] I'd prefer Adam be awkward when he talks to people than be smug and talk about his brain child.
Vince is a hipster lumberjack hnnng the singularity of the Slenderverse? Not without Marble Hornets and Victor Surge.
Victor Surge <3
Vince is a hipster lumberjack hnnng the singularity of the Slenderverse? Not without Marble Hornets and Victor Surge.
Exactly, they didn't even have the people who started it all, which really says something. I doubt Troy and Joseph would have shown up anyways though, they have a noted disdain for the Slenderverse at large, hence why they insist that their monster is 'The Operator' and not 'Slender Man'. Victor Surge is still pretty active doing Slender Man stuff, although I don't think he likes where his creation has gone either.
Waitin' for Jeff to post then see the ass kissing commence. Not that I'm pissed or something, it's just what'll happen.
Waitin' for Jeff to post then see the ass kissing commence. Not that I'm pissed or something, it's just what'll happen.
I would be surprised if he posted again, frankly. He's already been taking some flak for the Slendercon thing (Although the people getting angry at him are retarded. They're saying he should be filming or he should only be doing it for the art like Troy and Joseph, for some reason.), I'm just pissed off that he would call it Slendercon 2011 and alienate people who weren't invited like that. It's just seriously a dick move to have an event and mark it as a Slender Man convention while inviting no fans and only a few creators.

I think it's time for the Mythos to get some rest. There's always some new ARG creator on the prowl for a slot opening where he'll get noticed, but maybe it's time for them to get out of the bushes and move on to new prey in a different field.

Well I'm kind of hoping that once MarbleHornets, EverymanHYBRID, and TJAProjects all end, the Slenderverse will kind of die out. It's over saturated, and there's very little quality content left.

I knew one day, it would have the life squeezed out of it by the cold hands of it's fans. I wish it just could've stayed with MH for a while. All the other ARG's can't keep themselves up. MH could do it, but other people had to convince themselves they could do better. I can understand Troy and Joseph's distaste now. I just never wanted to face the fact.
Well I don't think Slender Man in general will be dead. He's still a neat myth, and people will always be coming up with stories about him, but I think the Vlogs and perhaps even the Blogs too will die out slowly. I know I'm done with the Slenderblog I'm helping with in December-ish, and I really just want to be done with the Slenderverse forever after that. Way too much bullshit and not enough quality content.

Once the ARGs are gone, Slendy's dead. Looks like someone's found his weakness. Using him far, far too much for fame.

Slender Man was popular before video series were being made, my friend. He was far better when he was just in a picture with a small back story about it. If you do a series, the characters become stale and Slender Man becomes less and less threatening, which leads to the series becoming less and less scary. MarbleHornets and TJAProjects were the only Slender Man Vlogs to ever scare me, and they're not even scary to me anymore. Then again, it doesn't really feel like MarbleHornets is trying to be scary, it's more about plot development at this point and less about scary background events. TJAProjects is going downhill at a breakneck pace because they, like EverymanHYBRID, are doing crossovers and it's falling flat on it's face because it's not taking the time to explain who these people are, they're just being shoved in our faces and we're expected to care about them or know who they are. So pretty much nothing is scary anymore because it's been used way too much.
Fucking Tall Man Slender Man ripoff for example. Unless it will be like Mothman Prophecies it'll be another big middle finger to Slender Man. Well, it'll be that anyways since it is a rip-off, but still.

They take up all the quality, and concepts very quickly. When one's finished, another takes it's place and it continues until Slender Man no longer comes out to play with the children. Instead, he hides in an old barn waiting for his Guardian Angel to put Him back on his feet. Slendy may get better if he's left alone for a while, but that one guy has to say no and go make one without even getting his bearings straight first.
