I had a nightmare about slenderman last night, I was in bed and I turned around and he started pushing my head into the pillow and I started screaming which woke me up. I read that he normally kidnaps children who dream of him so now I'm scared.

They didn't make Slender Man up, it was a long-running series of creepypasta before anything with video came around. It's not a knock off of anything other than the original stories. Get your shit straight before spouting bull.
