what EMH and TribeTwelve are in the same universe??? How did I miss this??? :psyduck:
They've been having a shitload of crossovers. Now it looks like even more crossovers. EMH seriously isn't doing anything. It's as bad as MarbleHornets used to be, at this point. We're having to wait 1-2 months for a 4-8 minute video. [editline]17th September 2011[/editline]
I really like silverselendie. They have a small audience, so it's easy to interact with the characters. I cant wait to see how this series goes. [editline]17th September 2011[/editline] I'm internet acting! :downs:
Yeah, I've spoken to them a little bit on Tumblr as well. It seems like a pretty generic series, with the exception of how their distortion is particularly ear-splitting. Why does everyone feel the need to have annoyingly loud ear-rape as distortion?
Yeah, I've spoken to them a little bit on Tumblr as well. It seems like a pretty generic series, with the exception of how their distortion is particularly ear-splitting. Why does everyone feel the need to have annoyingly loud ear-rape as distortion?
The way I see it is that the beginning could lead to anything. They're only 9 entries in. I'd like to see how this series is going to turn out. As for the distortion, I feel like it's necessary to let the viewer know that slendy's around.
Hoodie still has me thinking. I went back to watch Entry #41, and it just bothers me. Why was Jay's car door unlocked? Jay confirmed that even he doesn't know why. What's the distortion by the water? It reminds me of how Jay pointed the camera at a hole in the woods and there was distortion. It was in one of the Season 1 Entries. Also, there was a pretty big lasp between when Jay ran, and when the camera is picked up. Jay would've gotten in his car and droven off by then. No way he'd stay in the woods with the Operator. Now, there was at least a 15 minute time period between when it's dropped, and when it's picked up by Hoodie. It is possible that Jay ran into the woods, only to be stalked by the Operator and chased down, eventually being taken over. Jay also has been taken over before, or he was knocked out by something. In his Tweets, a few Entries earlier than Entry #41, his typing gets worse and worse (I havee a bad headach goinng to go lie downn), and he talks about a headache. He lays down, only for enttry #37 to be uploaded minutes later. Also it is possible that the reason Hoodie got into Jay's car was because he had the keys on him. The only problems with this is: The masked "twins" seem to be working against the Operator, as far as I can make out, mostly meaning that the Operator didn't take him (or Tim) over to begin with. That in itself puts a big hole in the masked men theories (Although the 'Ark' seems like a safe place from the Operator, Tim did seem to be completely mindless when donning the mask. He has also shown to be 'normal' at times (Entry #15, Interview with Tim takes place after Jay is attacked by a Masked Tim.) and there is the possibility that the Twins are being controlled by another force.) They seem to be following jay so he could 'lead them to the Ark.' Something that he could've already done/ couldn't have done taken over. Also, Hoodie bears a resemblance to the figure who filmed Jay sleeping in his car. Also, the fact that the Twins seem to be working against the Operator may put a hole in the theory that Alex is Hoodie. Any thoughts on this? Sorry for the long read, I just wanted to recap and maybe bring us closer to some better speculation. [editline]18th September 2011[/editline] Update: Hoodie's mask bears resemblance to the 'face' in the distortion that occurred when Seth was killed or taken. Maybe Hoodie is Seth, or Brian? (Thanks to Anonymous Speculator for the notice.) Tell me if I missed anything, or if you see any problems with it. This laptob may have caused some lines of text to shift up or down, or caused letters and sentence segments to be mixed up with other lines and sentences. Thanks for reading.

Like, in a few of their videos it has seriously pained my ears to listen to it. Also the whole "LOL HAY WE FOUND THIS OPERATOR SYMBOL" was also a little tasteless. It's true that it's just beginning, but so far it's setting itself up as something we've seen a million times before.
;32127468']http://www.mediafire.com/?ayru5dep5q7cc9k Right here. This includes the original mythos by Surge and the offshoots by the SA community, which for most people are all considered together because of their relative vagueness and avoidance of origin or backstory for Slendy himself. But I agree with you guys. This awesome concept has been torn in a million different directions and everyone calls it canon. I think that's really ruined what we think of slendy today. Honestly, I've been very tempted to try and do something myself that doesn't rely on MH or anything that came after it, and focus the core ideas, but I don't want to end up like the others.
This is so very, very late, but look what I found.
I always found it odd that my grandpa, who was a real smart man. Always worked construction and other seemingly low pay jobs, even though he had his college diploma in business management. Well, one day when I was at his house we were watching tv when the local news had a story about some kids who gone missing and how some other children in the area were talking about a skinny tall man in a suit. My grandpa shook a moment and I asked whats wrong. He turned the tv off and asked me what I knew about his time in WW2. All my dad told me was that Grandpa was a paratrooper. My grandpa laughed and told me that is what he told my dad. In reality he was a OSS field op. He said he was involved in many missions that remain secret to this day. Before I could ask what that had to do with missing kids he started to speak. Near the end of the war grandpa and a team of agents were sent on a mission in the Black Forest in Germany. They were disguised as civilians. Their mission was to meet up with a group who was going to give them some stolen Nazi plans. As they set up camp that night they heard a noise. Hiding their weapons they saw what looked to be a Nazi solider walking towards them. At first they thought he was drunk how he looked to be stumbling around until he got to their camp fire and they saw that his leg was broken. As they asked the solider what happened Grandpa said the solider just mumbled something then passed out. They figured that maybe there was a car wreck or maybe he was attacked by someone when the Nazi suddenly sat up, screaming "He's coming, oh God he's coming!" My grandpa was shouting this in perfect German, I didn't know he could speak any other languages. Grandpa then said that a guy on his team, Jim, pulled out his Thompson and pointed it towards where the Nazi came from. The others grabed their weapons when they saw him. A man in a black suit was walking towards them. Grand said he yelled at the man in german, french, any language he could think of to make this odd looking man answer who he was. It got closer and closer till they saw it's face. At that moment I saw my grandpa's face become pale, eyes gone distant. He said there were no real features, just odd looking orbs and at first a little line for a mouth. It stood there looking at the men, then the Nazi on the ground. The Nazi was crying, mumbling to himself. One of the team yelled for the "man" to put his hands up. At that moment the "man" shot up in the air. Grandpa said that's when they saw the tentacles. Grandpa and his team opened fire on the thing. It seemed like their bullets weren't doing anything as the "man" used one of its tentacles to grab the Nazi. The Nazi screamed in terror as he was dragged through the air. Grandpa said he aimed his gun at the poor bastard but something hit him and he fell to the ground. Grandpa said it seemed like time around him and the "man" just slowed down. He could see the bullets hit the "man" but they seemed to be adsorbed into him. The "man" looked down at Grandpa, then in a flash the man and the Nazi were gone. He said everything was so quiet. A little while after that the people they were waiting for showed up. Asking what happened. No one said anything. After the war Grandpa got married and was going to work for this company in New York but had a massive panic attack when he saw all the men in black business suits. After that moment he worked any jobs that didn't involve wearing or being around strangers in business suits.
TribeTwelve: Original since 2010!
This is so very, very late, but look what I found. TribeTwelve: Original since 2010!
I don't watch TT enough to remember if they rip that off directly or just stick closely to it, if it's that latter at least they're sticking to the mythos
I don't watch TT enough to remember if they rip that off directly or just stick closely to it, if it's that latter at least they're sticking to the mythos
Taking a story directly from the mythos and putting it into your story =/= sticking to the mythos. That's like saying if I stole EverymanHYBRID's plot almost word for word and made a series off of it, I would be sticking to the mythos. TribeTwelve steals so much from other things in the mythos it's not even funny. I'm surprised it's even crossing over with EverymanHYBRID. Judging from how original it is he should have met up with Geoff, Vance, and Ivan who run the fitness series AllpersonMIX instead.

I dunno if this is late. This is the crossover thingy. It seems to be crossing over with [sp] Dark Harvest [/sp] as well.

Noooo, why Dark Harvest? :c
Noooo, why Dark Harvest? :c
Why what? This thread is seemingly making people think that any cameo is bad. It's not. Not at all. It's just that TT's Adam Rosner isn't a very good actor, and TT is completely wrapping itself around EMH's story now.

I dunno. I would like that better is all.

Did you miss that chart? Like pretty much every series is canon to every one else now even though there's no continuity and huge inconsistencies.
Guess I can't say I'm much of a Slendy enthusiast considering I only follow MH.
Can somebody give me a link to silverslendie? I can't seem to find anything.
Why does Vince keep turning into a lumberjack? First the checkered shirt, then the axes and now he has a neckbeard.
Guess I can't say I'm much of a Slendy enthusiast considering I only follow MH.
Supposedly MarbleHornets follows 'The Operator' and not 'Slender Man' so if we're getting really technical you don't follow a slender series at all. Speaking of which, there were some people in the Slenderverse who were actually petitioning to change Slender Man's name to The Operator officially and have it be The Operator Mythos. I was just like "Can you seriously not fucking tell that Troy and Joseph don't want to be a part of the mythos? Why are you trying to do everything you can to drag them down with you?" There was also a few posts on Tumblr I saw about 'banning' people from the Slenderverse, which is really hilarious. The majority of the fandom has such a self-entitlement complex it's kind of insane.
Damnit Dark Harvest, I had so much faith in you. I don't want infinite cross overs.
Wow I actually got around to watching that Noah video and I'm even more disappointed than I thought I would be. I expected to just hate the crossover aspect but have it be an otherwise good video, but it really wasn't. Like, nothing happened. The only reason it existed was for the sake of Crossover bullshit. Definitely worth the two month wait.
Why does Vince keep turning into a lumberjack? First the checkered shirt, then the axes and now he has a neckbeard.
Side effects of being stalked by various deadly creatures from elsewhere.
These slender-series are just getting too overdone now. There's really not much originality left and it's really milking the whole Slenderman mythos dry. I know this has been said many, many times, but I just wish ol' Slendy would go back into hiding for a bit and stop all these people from making all of these series. They're confusing, hard to keep track of, and (from what I've heard) are a bit sub-par. I certainly miss the days back when it was just Marble Hornets, JustAnotherFool, EMH, etc. The buzz is missing. That's just my two cents, I'm expecting dumbs.
Inb4 this video and Noah's video, to be uploaded this Friday, are the last of their crossover. And Darkharvest was just a cameo here, like Evan appearing in TJA.
Inb4 this video and Noah's video, to be uploaded this Friday, are the last of their crossover. That appears to be what EverymanHYBRID is becoming. They're not doing anything but crossover bullshit now.
IMO the DarkHarvest cameo was done right. It was simple and a little in joke. It's not like major plot elements have to do with them.
IMO the DarkHarvest cameo was done right. It was simple and a little in joke. It's not that there's anything inherently wrong with cameos or crossovers, it's just they're being done to death and horribly written in the Slenderverse right now.

Slanderman?
Now in this little post of mine I am going to put across my two cents where Mr Joker here is concerned. Here we have a pure bred arsehole who seems to attempt to promote himself to some sort of god status. He devotes his time to slagging off series he would be fully incapable of making. Why? Because he is jealous that his arseholism got him kicked out of the little creator's circle. He is what we over in England call a twat. He seems to be unable to understand that if he is so pissed off with other people's hard work he can just step away and never disgrace the mythos again. He is also the reason why this forum is considered to be the rear end of the slenderman mythos. I myself am a creator and I do not see why I should get endless amounts of shit thrown at me and my friends. So, to sum up this rather inarticulate post...get a life or get out. I am pissed off with hearing about you and your bullshit.
Slanderman?
Fixed. noticed as soon as I posted.
