He might be trying to help Jay? Or at least not directly trying to hurt him.

Maybe Jay didn't come back and get his camera. Did you ever think of that? Maybe the masked person picked it up and brought it back to his car just to mess with him. Maybe he is on his side. It could even be Jay, but going wacko in a mask or some shit. My theory is that the masked person was the one who picked up the camera and brought it back. The person could be totheark, masky, or even Jay. We'll just have to wait.
Perhaps Jay has an alter-ego that takes over for months at a time? It would explain the reason he never remembers anything.

Well, it isn't a mask, it looks more like a balaclava.

I'm thinking more of Dissociative Identity Disorder than Slenderman, but I suppose it could go either way.

I have a lot of catching up to do. Last time I followed slender man was when it was just posts in the creepy pasta thread. And marble hornets just came out.
Is it possible for someone to do a screen-cap of the creepy statue? I couldn't see it clearly.
Just watched all of the marble hornets videos. Would make a great tv series or something.
