Slender Man V5 - "OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT" Edition
;32434942'][sp]So it was Damien who hacked into Alex's account and posted on the blog? Oh, I see. I thought that the Arsonist had also entered Julia and Alex's bodies at one point. The Arsonist even said 'Damien, we need to talk. Back whenever we shared a body, it was good to sit across from you, talk to you, to touch you.' which kinda made it seem like the Arsonist was in Alex's body as well andd that Damien had beaten the Arsonist. It never really made sense to me, it seemed like Alex knew the Arsonist was in him, as he told Damien "You've beaten the Arsonist, now tell me how or I swear to whatever god exists I'll force you to tell me."[/sp]
Wow that's dumb. Damien defeated The Arsonist by coming to terms with himself and his past, and acknowledging all the crazy shit that was happening.
Why is the writer of Dreams in Darkness wrecking all of the amazing mystery and symbolism originally happening in the blog? Now it's just a generic Slender Blog again.

Whenever I first read it, I thought it would have not much to do with Slendy. Instead I thought it would center around Brent breaking into Alex's house again and again like a broken record.
I was kind of right.
And how is misunderstanding something dumb?

Awww. He looks sad!
I'm just gonna call it on this one: Alex attacks Jay, and Jay has no choice but to kill him.
I feel like someone (possibly Alex) is going to die in the next entry, and Jay will see the whole thing
he looks like he just saw some serious fucked up shit in that picture
I'm really excited now.
oh fuck oh fuck
dammit jay

I hope the operator comes and tries to stop Jay, but somehow he prevails.
Either that or some shit's about to go down.
Also, I find it odd how my friend introduced me to Slenderman and the whole mythos including MarbleHornets, yet he doesn't really pay attention to it any longer.

That would be amazing.

I actually liked that TT. I just wish Adam wouldn't swear so much and so needlessly. I mean, Evan swears alot, but he does it for real emphasis. Adam is just "SHIT FUCK FUCKING SHIT BALLS SHIT FUCK"
Liked the stuff on the plane though, that was cool.
If i were that good at editing, I'd make a slendy series.
But I suck.

I found it kind of comical. Like Snakes On A Plane, Slender Man edition. Also, I think it would have been far cooler if something would have happened. To me it just kind of felt like a scene to show off his editing skills.
[editline]24th September 2011[/editline]
I really don't get the big hubbub about TribeTwelve, honestly. Like I'm not even trying to be hateful, I really want someone to explain to me why they like it. I just don't get it. The editing is really cool, but the acting is pretty bad and I fail to see any kind of plot direction or over-arching story other than 'Noah is a guy and his cousin Milo disappeared and now Slender Man'.

I think it's cooler that nothing happened. It shows that, once Slendy was gone, everyone's mind was wiped and no one remembered, except for a kid who asked her father in the background "Daddy Who was the man - the tall man...". It's kinda like the Silence from Dr. Who, it shows that he can alter memory very effectively, and that children have a heightened perception of him.
Here, I can see why Noah would curse: he's amongst others that are in a similar situation that he can feel comfortable around them, cursing as much as he wants. At some point, you need to understand that it's Noah's disposition to curse, it's just the way he, and many other people in the world, have.
TribeTwelve is a lot deeper than you think. The mystery surrounding Milo's death and the oddness of his mother and her relation to Slender Man, the stories his parents tell of the house fire hinting at Slender Man, how Grandpa Karl may have more to do with what's going on due to this Nazi Journal that's being hinted to all the time, how Milo became the way he was and how the Observer contributed to his apparent suicide, and the absolute conundrum that is the Observer; who is he, what are his intentions, what is his relation to Milo?
The editing was absolutely fantastic as always and the callback to Karl was a nice touch of continuity, and all of the hidden pictures and bits are fun to find, the crossover was not over the top and pretty tasteful as it linked the series together smoothly without introducing anything radical. This is what I came to this fandom for, to be scared shitless whilst being intrigued by the mystery of it at the same time. TribeTwelve raises the bar on everything, adding something new each time (Tentacles, elderly German grandfather telling a story, Slender Man appearing in unprecedented places, The Observer's cryptic videos and how the effects convey it's message, the device - nuff' said, his in depth look into what was on the device by displaying it on his computer, getting pulled off the bed whilst sleeping, ect. The list goes on and on.). I guess one of the major appeals is "what different thing that hasn't been done before will they do next to raise the bar?"
So why can't you get into it? I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you just have a shit attention span due to your shallow bias, or unwarranted butthurt rather, towards the creator. Oh well, to each his own.

oh, I don't know... someone is stalking him, leaving listening devices in his room, breaking into his house and filming him, taunting him, leaving him information to decipher, there's a whole story to it. If you fail to see that... then you're pretty special.

You're continuing the drama. I'm just answering Joker. He said:

and I replied to it with an explanation, albeit lengthy. Deal with it.
tribetwelve would be perfect with at least less than decent acting

Can you not? Like, seriously, don't pick a fight with me because I don't like a series you don't like. I wasn't into TribeTwelve looooooooooooooooooooong before I met Adam. I watched it from the beginning and I never really got why it was so popular. I also like how you accuse me of having a shit attention span when I like EverymanHYBRID and MarbleHornets more than TribeTwelve, which are infinitely more complex.
Can you seriously not resist your intense urge to be agressive towards me? You say I'm butthurt, yet I'm the one who always gets hatemail and people making accounts here for the sole purpose of trying to make me look bad.

Don't start.
I'm not saying things don't happen. You're misunderstanding me. I watch the videos, I see what goes on. All I'm saying is, I don't see what the plot is other than 'Noah is being stalked by Slender Man'. There are a lot of other subtleties, such as the nazi journal mentioned above, and Milo and the Observer, but that isn't really a plot so much as it is mysteries that may or may not have an effect on the overall plot.
Why is it that when I expressly state that I am not trying to hate on TribeTwelve and I just don't get why people think it's that great, people call me stupid? Like, really? Wow, you're right, I sure am stupid for not sharing an opinion with other people.

The crossover makes sense now.

I think Grim Joker's hate for TT is a bit over the top. But with the plot he has a point. Sure, all this creepy shit has happened to him, yet we've gone for what, almost a year now? And there has been no resolution to anything. A good story is paced, it doesn't just throw things at you over and over and then resolve it in a nice little bundle at the end, which is what I think is happening here.

I don't even hate TribeTwelve. I find the fact that it's so super popular pretty baffling, but other than that, I mean, it's decent. I'm pretty neutral, leaning towards very mild dislike, on the series itself. It has some really great effects but other than that it really brings nothing to the table, in my opinion.
Why does everyone assume that just because I had an argument with the creator, suddenly I think it's the devil? I watched it long beforehand. I mean, I had a small debate with Tim from MarbleHornets about merchandising, but I still love MarbleHornets and don't hold it against him. Jeff and I have also had many disagreements but I don't go on about how much I hate EMH. Just because I argue with a creator does not mean I will suddenly declare a vendetta on everything they do.

Using the word hate was wrong I suppose. I know you don't have a real issue with it. You do post alot about it though.
I agree with pretty much everything you say about TT. I don't hate it, I just think it's incredibly mediocre for the most part.
I very much enjoyed the airplane scene.

...are you talking about MarbleHornets or TribeTwelve here?
Also, Joker, quit trying to reignite your personal flame war. Let's just talk about the series. It's over, just drop it please. Thanks.
