Slender Man V5 - "OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT" Edition

The source of Slender Man's power must be those giant pants of his.
Why did he say Jay was gone in entry 22? It's been awhile.
Edit: Heh, reminds me of the building by my house, except as far as I can tell, mine is 100 times creepier with crayon drawings on the wall etc.

He just does. It's been a mysterious point that Jay has never pointed out. At least three of those people have been attacked/abducted (Seth, Brian, and Tim) and the only other ones on that list are Sarah and Jay. Jay has been attacked and abducted several times before, but the jury's still out regarding his mental state.

I liked that it was more footage from the MarbleHornets production though. It's kind of like a sequel to a video game or something that has a flash-back sequence to the first game.
I liked hearing from non-super pissed off Alex again.
I've been dreaming about Slender Man for a week.
MAYBE I'M PSYCHIC ABOUT NEW MARBLEHORNETS
Yeah but anyway it's terrifying to be flying along and suddenly Slenderman
Entry in a nutshell:
"ALEX. ALEX. ALEX. ALEX. ALEX WHERE ARE YOU. ALEX. ALEX ALEX. ALEX. ALEX. ALEX. ALEX WHERE ARE YOU. ALEX. ALEX ALEX. ALEX. ALEX. ALEX. ALEX WHERE ARE YOU. ALEX. ALEX"

They were on sale in a charity shop, give him a break :v:
Also entry 51 was great, I wonder what the hell happened to Tim

obv. he was coughing because of the built up tar in his lungs and lost his house because he was spending all his money on cigs.
That was a damn good entry. Didn't expect to see Brian there, which was a nice surprise, and all the allusions to the first season were a nice touch too. I hope these are continued in the next entry. This can't be the season finale, right?
Their Slender Man model or whatever has really big feet, or his pants flare out at the bottom, or something like that.
It's Disco Slenderman!

And honestly, what with all the "Alex is evil" chatter, I half-expected him to come running down the corridor with an axe and chop Brian into little pieces.

Troy said on his blog that that's not the finale, but we're very close to it.
Do you reckon there's gonna be another season, or will the finale for this season finish the story?

Troy confirmed there would be a shorter third season to wrap up the story. Season 2 will end the 'What Happened During The Seven Months?' arc, and then Season 3 will basically be the end game. He also confirmed he wasn't going to end it mysteriously, or on a cliffhanger. We'll all get our answers, pretty much.

Thank god we'll have everything answered.
I just hope they don't fuck up the ending.

I doubt they will. They've been doing it pretty well so far.
I don't really like the new slendy mannequin they're using. Too demonic IMO, it makes him look silly. I prefer the old tall-skinny-human-ish one.
Eh, they look the same to me.
Eh, they look the same to me.
Not to me. I've noticed that in the later entries slendy has massive pants and a wider reach.
So, Alex is either away with the faeries when he kills/knocks out people (possibly for the Operator) or he's directly lying to someone who we don't know about for a reason we don't know about on a tape he was going to burn anyway.
Either it's the former or Alex is very good at covering his tracks.

Thing that I really miss in MarbleHornets, is when the operator actually moved. In the first season, when he jerked his head, walked past windows 'n' shit, it was terrifying. In this season he's just been made to stand still, and just appear everywhere. It's not as creepy.

Movement's for pussies. Real men melt their enemy's brains.
I've been wanting to add slendy to my weekly D&D game I D'm. They've been messing around with a bunch of magic/demonic stuff they came across and I need to scare/mess with them. They won't ever fight him (that would end bad) but I like the idea of making single party members do sight checks at random and just creeping them out.
I prefer the slenderman in this picture

Although in Marblehornets, he seems to look like that (Really long thing features) when slendybro is pissed off
I'd prefer he not look like Doctor Octopus from Spiderman, thanks.

I agree that he was scarier when he moved about. It made him more human, though. When he walked into Alex's bedroom, it wasn't 'Oh my god a monster is in Alex's bedroom' scary, it was 'Oh my god a guy is in Alex's bedroom' scary. Like this, we only get brief glimpses of him, and he's more monstrous looking than ever.

Well, MH has the Operator. If they were dealing with Slender Man they'd be dead already.

I agree that he was scarier when he moved, but disagree on the 'oh my god a guy is in Alex's bedroom' because at that time, it wasn't 'the Operator', it was still 'slender man', and was directed at that audience. It was made for the SA thread. The viewers knew it was slendy and you know some bad shit was gonna go down because it was still at that stage where seeing slendy meant absolute death.
And I also like the tentacle-walking ideas, because it punctuated the inhumanity of its 'true' self, even down the the fact that it didn't always walk or stalk like a person, when it came down to it, it's walkin on its tentacles, creepin through the forest. That was part of the reason it was so scary, too, and the whole forest thing, was because when it used its tentacles in such a manner it was easy to camouflage itself in the treas.

Now with Move support instead of that DLC that you wanted.
After seeing this I can't take Slender Man seriously anymore.

Yeah. I guess the guy who made the YGO Abridged Series, LittleKuriboh, is really into MarbleHornets and EverymanHYBRID.
I just started watching everymanHYBRID the other day, I'm about halfway or so it's actually quite good.
