Here's my beater, it's a dated picture, I will be taking an update one soon but it was quite dirty in this picture. Just a regular 98 s10. Trusty lil 4 cyl.[/QUOTE]
Not bad, and I like the headlights. Might get some like that myself, since Ruby needs a new headlight anyway since the left one got smashed a few weeks back. Probably going to do a junkyard trek for replacement parts this weekend.

Been thinking about getting airbag suspension for my truck as well, though not to do any lowriding or anything: I just want something silky smooth if I move into the city. Did he do the conversion himself?

I would die to have one of these RWD and a VR6 platform.
(Which I've now herd is possible by using a Toyota transmission.)

That newer VW ute you got there is a real looker. Too bad it's still FWD, and not available here. :(
That's how the Caddy should've been

No He bought it already done for only $7,500. Kids mom was pissed that he had 3 Toy trucks and made him sell one for cheap. The kid paid a Popular local shop around $11K to have it done.
Soo, I only lurk the forum once in awhile but maybe you guys remember my 2002 Toyota Tacoma?

I don't like big trucks. Outside of the early 2000's Tacoma's and Frontier's I doubt I'll ever buy a modern truck. I like my Japanese pickup because it's compact as hell.
The bed is big enough for everything I need. I had to do a tiny amount of trouble-shooting since it was a 13 year old used truck. But they're great, reliable trucks. My Brother-in-Law just bought a 2013 Toyota Tacoma and I don't like it. Too wide, too big. The hood scoops are ugly as hell and I just don't like the new profile. This truck has enough clearance, it's about as wide as a typical passenger car and it's not much longer. I love double cabs too, I can ferry all my bro's and hoe's around in the back.
The new Tundra's are literally cancer to my eyes.
As much as I love all pre-2003 (around there) toyota pickups or 4runners (minus the tundra, it has always looked bad), they are really, really unstable. I feel like the back could slide out or it could roll over at any time even on the newer ones, and they are heavier.
I'm with you on the size. that's why i love my dakota. it's not too big but roomy, quad cab is awesome. and honestly, they look better than the rams.
I like the Dakota because it was the only compact pickup available with a whacking great V8. And it looks good and dat quad cab.

Agreed about the V8. There WERE several V8 S-10s produced by GM, but they number in the single digits as show cars, which kinda annoys the shit out of me since cosmetically I prefer them over Dakotas, Rangers, Tacos, and Frontiers, though I've been told I have some very odd stylistic preferences. I do quite like the Dakota though, in all of its generations. The one Stance has is truly a miniature '90s RAM with a bit of superiority over its bigger brother for one reason alone: the Quad Cab.
Coming from a country where the largest pickups are Colorado/Dmax/Triton/Hilux/Ranger. I actually have a thing for the bigger ones like the F150 and Tacoma.
But too bad any car made outside South-East Asia gets 250% import duties which just blows their prices to the moon.

What's hideous about it? All that's a little out of place is the "reverse spoiler" on the bed there, and it looks like that can be removed easily.

But that's a big part of what makes it awesome...
You know what they say, The taste is like the ass, it's split!
Shelby trucks were pretty awesome
There's not much Shelby did that wasn't awesome.
The Shelby Shadow was amazing. We had one and I remember being hurled around the back seat because it was so damn grippy.
a little off topic but, Skusty, is your real name Julle?
