Fingerprints are actually not as effective as you would think; and judging from the fact that OP is only 16, the people who are being dipshits are probably no older than 18 or so. The police probably don't have their prints, and thus they'd still be unable to catch them unless they left something incredibly obvious behind.

Furthermore, that's a lose-lose situation you're describing there.

I can relate to you OP. These mexicans in my ceramics class ganged up on me and pushed me around. I put up with it for a few days. One day I just lost it & I told them to fuck off. Just a few weeks ago, they tried to jump me on my way home, I grabbed one guy and whipped out my knife and said to him, "You have the balls to push me around, well I have the balls to use this knife bitch!" Him & his buddies backed off. They haven't bothered me since and now they look away from me when I see them in school.

Protip: Martial arts and shit doesn't help you in a real fight. MMA will make you tougher, but you won't learn much that would help you fight off people in real fights, you'd just be able to take more hits before you go down.

Learn how to run kid. Seriously. I haven't been "bullied", but there was a lot of gang violence going on at my high school so people getting jumped when their friends weren't around was part of the everyday norm. Unless you're a monster, you're not going to win a fight against multiple people. The key to surviving getting jumped and stuff is to learn how to run.

By that I mean joining the track team (no matter how slow or out of shape you might be) and working your ass off with the sprinters. Long distance shit will not help you. Cross country will not help you. Working with the sprinters will make you much faster very quickly, especially if you bust your ass.

Then when those guys come to mess with you, you find the largest gap between two guys and haul your ass through it. They'll grab at you and stuff, but your legs will be strong enough to rip yourself out of their hands.

There is an even better solution though. Tell an adult. Those kids will not hunt you down and kill you. When you tell the police, a teacher, your grandparent, whoever, make sure you tell them how those kids have threatened you about not telling anyone. Also, emphasize the whole [B]knife[/B] part. If you just say "Well they're mean to me", nothing will happen. If you say "These guys have held a knife to my throat", then their little parade will be rained on really fucking fast.

Police and authority in general are also smart enough to not say who told on them. They won't say "Oh yeah, that kid told, go get him." They'll probably say someone that has seen you getting bullied told the police, so you'll be in the clear.

You're going to have to suck up your pride and your fear if you want to get out of this deal without any more injuries. Tell somebody or learn how to get the fuck out of there in a heartbeat. Pick one. Hell, you're best off picking both.

Carrying a knife on a campus is a fairly serous offence and its possible they could be expelled. Or (if they have girlfriends) get beat up while their girl is near, as this doesn't tend to go over well with the ladies, especially if they know you and don't have anything against you. Or (last resort) wait for one to be alone and through an elbow into the back of his head hard and fucking run, if your going to do this make sure:
A. there is no one watching of any concern to you
B. you have nothing to carry around with you that you have to run with, or they are carrying something heavy
C. You have somewhere to run to.
