Strange/scary unsolved mysterious events. - General

Anyone hear of that abandoned mental home or something with that weird coversation? I think it went like this: Kid: I can't breathe! Man: I couldn't breathe. Kid: I can't breathe! Woman: I couldn't breathe. Kid: I can't breath! Another man: I couldn't breathe. Something like that. But in the video that was taken at the same time as the audio, the room was comepletely empty.

I've been in Marfa Texas for the past four days and I got to see the Marfa lights on two occasions. Very bizarre stuff. You can just watch as lights appear out of nowhere and move around and change intensity, it was awesome.

Here's an interesting one involving one of my friends. One of my friends, something of an amateur paranormal investigator who mostly does it for the thrills, was attempting EVP ([url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_voice_phenomena[/url]) in his basement. He left the tape recorder down there on record by itself and went upstairs, with his mom being the only other person in the house, and she was working upstairs. The tape recorder somehow shuts itself off shortly after my friend leaves, but not before strange clicking sounds are heard, and even what sounds like a growl toward the end. At the very end, you can clearly hear something fiddling with the buttons on the tape recorder. Here's the recording, which is 1:19 long. A lot of people think that his house is haunted, and I'm one of them. This isn't the only strange thing to happen in his house.

I'm alone at the house , and my basement can only acceded from outside of the house. the fundations of my house are probably older than 300 years. I live in a part of france where romans used to live in even before christ. who know if something of this age could remain under my house ... [b]Edit:[/b] Ok I've heard it all : At the beginning , when I close the door , the sound is very similar to the one we hear during all the recording of your friend. I'm not telling he faked it or something ... The whole recording is affected by a noise wich is brobably caused by the quality of my mic.I just checked that there were no ambient sounds in the basement by using my own hears. So I have to put the volume high (not at maximum though , probably 6 or 7/10 to hear something different. I have the feeling I heard some "zombie sounds" , but they might just be interference. Then I hear what looks like the voice of a woman , but I can't understand what she says , it's like as I recorded a women speaking from a radio located somewhere in the room and with low volume. It lasted during almost the whole recording ( about 4 minutes ). It was creepy until I figured it might be a remains of what was recorded before on the band. Because then I distincly heard music. With a man singing. It sounds like a 20th century music , but it could just have been recorded by my parents or something. So until the end of the record , I though theses sounds were generated by the poor quality of the record. But at the end , I made a creepy discovery : I started to hear foot sounds. First I thought it was mines but they stoped, and more than 10 seconds later , I heard the sound of the door opening !!! Then it was the real sound of my foots and I heard myself saying "ok it's over". I precise that the foot sounds I heard were identics to the one i made , so theses sounds cannot come from outside ( it would be the sound I produced walking inside my house) That's the end of the story , I hope I have been clear , because english is not my primary language. [b]Edit:[/b] I've listend again the mysterious feets sounds. In fact they appear more than 1 minute before I come down. It last for like 10 seconds and it's very regular , just like a clock , but in fact it's not as loud as the sound of my feets when I enter the basement. So , 3 possibilities : - IT'S A GHOST ! - It's the sound of my feets in the house that reverberated to the basement. Not very plausible because I never used to hear peoples in the house when I was in the basement. - It's an artefact from the previous recordings. It was on Coast to Coast, and I could probably imitate that by going into a large room with a bunch of people talking and recording all the noise with a shitty camera. The story behind it is always different, too. First it's in Siberia, then it's in Norway, then it's in the ocean, and on Antartica, or in Colorado, or India, so on, so forth. It's a load of bull.

Scareiest thing that happened to me was I opened word on my p.c to do some homework. I got up to take a shit and when I got back I was next to the doorway with my back to the p.c when I was pouring a drink. Suddenly I hear the buttons on my keyboard being pressed.. I froze.. all of the hairs on my body stuck up and I was to scared to move.. the typing stoped and I looked at my computer, no one was there and tpyed into the computer on word was the phrase 'I fucked your mother'. I never slept that night. My mom slept pretty well though.
