I tried sun cooked slices of spam a few years ago. The result was warm and slightly dried out slices of spam. It was kind of gross.
wow
What are you surprised about?
I got one at The Bargain! Shop. Yes, the name of the store is The Bargain! Shop. With an exclamation mark in the middle. They're basically worse than value village.
i love the bargain! shop so much, even if it is literally the worst store ever. i often have trouble breathing after leaving any bargain! shop store
I bet you enjoyed the smell of that in your car for the next few days.
terrible car
where does someone even get an idea like this
"Damn it's so hot outside I could probably cook something on my car roof". It's not an uncommon thought, just uncommonly practiced. v:v:v
What's with the digimon references?
I got one at The Bargain! Shop. Yes, the name of the store is The Bargain! Shop. With an exclamation mark in the middle. They're basically worse than value village.
Those are still around? I have not seen one in 14 years.
At least your cheap-o shops have sort of original names, they all focus on the word 'Pound' here. Poundland, Poundworld, Poundsaver...
I've baked a potato on my engine during road trips before. Done steaks with blowtorches too, those always come out real nice [editline]26th July 2013[/editline]
terrible car
my aunt had a geo tracker for a while and it was actually a pretty good car. the little 4 cylinder engine was nice and responsive, it has plenty of ground clearance for offroad work, and the 4wd system does a great job putting power to the wheels. On top of all that, it's dirt cheap and incredibly reliable and gets incredible gas mileage for a 20 year old offroader.
I'm gonna go cook some garlic bread with an arc welder, brb.
wouldn't work, arc welders rely on conductivity. A plasma cutter might work better

Having worked in foodservice, I will tell you this. You take risk eating any food between 4 and 75C. That's 40 and 170F.

Cooking with MIPS, or: How I Learned that Life Could Always be Worse
These photos were taken in Kamloops weren't they I recognize those brown hills
These photos were taken in Kamloops weren't they I recognize those brown hills
I'm pretty sure this isn't Vancouver. [editline]30th July 2013[/editline]
Cooking with MIPS, or: How I Learned that Life Could Always be Worse
Nothing could be more depressing than the time I was stuck in Lynwood WA with a dead alternator and the night consisted of drinking cough medication, eating spoonfuls of spam and sleeping in my car until someone could drive down with a new alternator and tools.
my god man how has your dietary tract not collapsed in on itself yet?
robotripping and eating spam sounds like 90% of facepunch [editline]31st July 2013[/editline]
Wingless gets first dibs on my stuff, followed by zeke.
Ok but I don't want any old chocolates, your pizza snacks, or any computer equipment that weighs more than 100 pounds
footage of mips cooking
What the fuck did I just watch.
Just get a flippin' Foreman grill, clean it after cooking, and store it in your closet or your drawers when you're not using it. We weren't allowed to have things in our barracks either, but I got away with that for two years, and I somehow imagine whichever people are responsible for periodic dorm room inspections have as deep a love of rule enforcement as your average army sergeant. The best thing about the Foreman grill idea is that you can use it to cook real food, too.
After reading some posts from this thread, I was inspired to get a Foreman grill. I bought one for about 15 bucks at target, and after grilling some burgers and chicken breasts with it, GODAMN this shit is amazing. I never cook but with this thing i'm like motherfuckin gordon ramsey
I have a foreman grill. I make grilled cheese and chicken breast sandwiches with it. Also cooks eggs pretty well.
