Oooh, whens the mountain dewritos edition for this getting out? I cannot wait to play some 343 industries™ genius with my patented halo controller by microsoft™ while eating some delicious limited edition doritos and drinking some gamer fuel® mountain dew™ to go with my double MLG campaign XP!
thank you for absolutely obliterating whatever was left of that joke, hats off to you.
Theres a reason Bungie never finished it.
Honestly, I didn't mind the loadouts in Halo: Reach. It was mostly just picking a starting weapon and such for personal preference rather than starting everyone off with the same rifle and pistol (albeit not quite as balanced as such), in most slayer matches or such you could still pick up the power weapons from specific parts of the map for utilization like the classic games. The Armor Abilities also added variety, i'm not out for MLG or competitive bullshit but to go online and play a few matches. I mean, I can see why a fan would hate them - and I can especially see where Halo 4 went very wrong in that regard. But personally, H:R wasn't very offensive to me at all other than the lack of any damn detail on nearly anything in terms of explanations for what this or that were.
You know. The series had the chance. It had the chance to make a huge fucking over-arc and mindfuck of tying in with the Marathon universe, because of all the similarities they share. There were even little nods and hints to such a thing. And instead, we get fucking anime butterfly robot. I was hoping to a reference to this the second I saw the trailer. Sorely disappointed. That's what I get for putting any hope in the Halo franchise. :v:
I was hoping this would have been done if Bungie were allowed to hold onto Halo, but as they knew Halo: Reach was their last Halo game they had to opt for something else instead of starting a new trilogy with Marathon heavily involved. Oh well.
