Through my experience, I believe that fetishes or taste in body types are part of a whole tree of fetishes; with the branches intertwining with other fetishes that are similar, based round different sexual mind sets. For example my fat/weight gain (of women) fetish is similar to inflation fetishism; That is because it is based round the principle of "more to love" or "more to hold on to". However what separates my fetish from their fetish, is that they unrealistically want their women to retain a tightness as they become huge with air; while my fetish is about women with flabby folds to grab on to and fat to jiggle about with.

Now you must be asking but how did people have this fetish? Well that is because they are either born with it (unlikely) or had a past pleasant or unpleasant experience while they were younger. An example of this would be "Bartok the Magnificent" which covered both weight gain and transformation. You may not realise this but a lot of moments on TV shows and movies have caused different generations, new kinds of fetishes deep in their brain ready to be unleashed when they have oldered.
