it's just my opinion that people should be able to draw whatever they please, and as long as it isn't something horrifically disgusting, as long as they put effort into it it should not be bashed solely on what it is of.
So apparently Talent is a finite resource like oil?

Although anyone can give critique now, premium members remain the only ones who can request it. I don't see how that is any less broken than how it was before.

Critique is a great way to get more detailed commentary, with the added bonus of a rating system and an upvote/downvote kinda system to weed out bad critiques. Too bad this is still deviant art and people could end up abusing downvotes to avoid constructive critiques
I felt kinda proud when I saw someone post a pony in the creative work thread and people gave him polite advice to avoid starting out in that cartoony style and whatnot, instead of devolving to insults, waste of talent commentary, or just flat out baseless flaming and an argument
then I came here and found this exact problem.
