I'm not sure you understood who he meant was the furry in that situation, but it's still a legitimate question, and the answer is "it doesn't". (Doesn't mean there aren't fans of any show with talking animals, where the fan is a furry and relates to that show the most or whatever.)

Well they were all corralled there, and except for the occasional ban-me thread on /b/, they stay there and /b/ doesn't bother them. Not that /b/ could anyways, most of it's inhabitants come from /b/ and /co/ anyways. It started off and still is pretty nice, but it's roots in /b/ are showing a bit.
