The people who usually buy this crap are usually willing to pay thousands of dollars for PROFESISONAL MUSEUM QUALITY COSPLAY REPLICA ANIMU costumes.
The only reason I can see it costing that much is because of the use of silkscreening for the "scales."
Though I can't tell, they just might be sewn on patches...
