It's more about his behavior (a control freak and a liar, who don't respect anything that isn't "popular" and would use the "e-popularity" argument to prove he's better than you) I got a problem with. There was a whole drama on dA about him and some torture-device's comic, where alexiuss goes apeshit, and I also encountered him once (he goes also apeshit when I told him my opinion on the comics in the Fresh Epics group, after he asked why some people didn't like them). He's bascially an idiot.
But his art isn't bad but also isn't that "great" once you know what all he can do is to use photographies and smudge the fuck out of it.

Didn't seem like a lot of assuming was going on, just very negative impressions of the person in their own correspondence and during his involvement with other people from dA.
btw, didn't we already come to the basic consensus he can quickly become a huge dick some time ago? I distinctly remember we were talking of whether he was an exception in the "Fresh Epics" group because of his higher quality art, but then the discussion turned to his personality and yeah.
