lol retarded arguing is still going on. to those that questioned my dissent towards the aggressor's artwork. how is it any different from what they're doing. what makes childish scribbles art and if you can call it that how can you not call this art. basically anything can be called art. if people are getting sexual gratification out of what she's doing, is her art not being enjoyed and appreciated?
but yeah the whole artistic nude vs "pornographic" material is kinda silly. she's not making pretentious pseudo-emotional or sentimental poses boo-fucking-hoo. you think people don't get their jollies off "actual artistic nudes" then you're sorely mistaken. just because people don't go off on extended rants about camera quality, filter choice and all that crap doesn't make it any more 'artsy' than a simple shot with a camera phone. just like apparently more seemingly purposeful artwork isn't any more artsy than some of the shitty doodles some of you pass as art. anyway enjoy my five minutes worth of 'effort' haha
From the desk of Pvt. Martin:
Enjoy
~~~<3<3 preston-kun & buckley-san's uber mega // Kawaii // balloon boi luv <3<3~~~
Or
How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Tire Pump
preston-kun was sittin on his bed readin delicious yaoi mangas about inflation while suckin on a stick of pocky, listing to his fav OC vocaloid album, wearin his dr. ho scarf, and thiking abut that beautiful, bron haired boi from next door, tim buckley-san. “Ohhh Buckley-san~~” , he sighed “how I drem of you here right now! Sitting on my bed, atop of me, kissying me with yer delicious lips.
preston-kun couldn't stop iimagine what it would be like if buckley-san were here right now, kissing him, exploring each others bodies, and maybe even more ;>, just like the mangas he reads.
preston-kun slid a hand down into his harry potter breifs to massage his “wand”. “Ohhhh buckly-kun” , he moaned as he droped his manga and sprawled out on his bed, rubbing his shaft up and down, thinking about all the naughty things buckley-san could do to him. Unknowingly to preston-kun howevar, buckley-san had entered preston-kuns house to ask for a cop of flower, when he had heard his name bein moaned loudly. Buckley-san crept upstairs to look through the door crack into the room, where preston-kun began to fidget getting his breifs off. Buckley-san opened the door and stood in the doorway, to preston-kun's surprise. “He's here! Oh gawd what do ii doooo?1 >.<” “I see you're thinking of me” buckley-san said while motring to prestons bed. Preston-kun's eyes began to widen and his hertbeat raced as buckley-san came closer. Before he could think, buckley-san lept atop of preston-kun, fruiously kissinging each other. It was a dream come true.
OC vocaloid played in the background of this steamy scene as buckley-san took off preston-kun's breifs. Preston's wand poped right up, and he was embarrased b\y this. “don't be my dear preston-kun”, buckley san slithered out as he took off his shirt exposing his manly 1 pack. Preston-kun bit his knuckle to stifle a moan as buckley-kun wrapped his lips around prestons wand. Only minutes after sucking preston-juy couldn't take it anymor. “A~aaah, PRETENTIOUS CUMMICUS!!!!!!!! N'yah!!!”. Loads of magic shot ouf of the wand. And buckley- san smiled. “my turn, but now”, he said as he pulls out something from under preston's bed. “the REAL fun begins ;3”.
to preston-kun's biggest surprise, buckley-san brought out prestons special tirepump, just for the occcasion <3.
buckle-san took out a special pumping machine with two hoses. He then carefully nudged then into his and preston-kuns boi hole >3>. “Ahhn~” preston said as he stifled a moan, preing again from feeling the hose in him. At the press of a button, the machine started and they both felt the beautiful air fillin them both up. Preston-kun couldn't help but moan loudly as he grew in size along with buckley-san. The two grew so big that the house around them exploded from their growing size. Eventually they got the size of the hinderburg. Buckley-san then inserted his engorged penis into preston-kun as they flew over the city of devian-tartia. The denizins screemed in terror, as loads of cum rain down, drowning many in the cum of buckley-san and preston-kun. Afterward, they both kissed and embraced each other as they passed over the lands of Facepunchermany, and they were both shot down by the military.
The End
What's new with "You're Tom Preston?" comics?
After reading about the flaming that Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal) got for drawing a bubbly blond gamer girl, I started to think about genders perceptions in our culture.
I don’t know if it’s possible to create a character that’s completely devoid of tropes, stereotypes, gender assumptions, cultural influences and the like. I remember a story about how Scott Adams (Dilbert) tried to make a non stereotypical female character and in the end was accused of making fun of lesbians.
I think the best way to combat stereotypes isn’t to try and eliminate them entirely but just to spend more time with a character. The longer you spend with a character, even a stereotypical one, the more developed and deep they can be. Take a look at The Simpsons for example: Nearly every character on there was a stereotype of some sort. But then after 20+ seasons you get to know them more and realize they’re deeper and more complex fun characters.
If you guys don't know about The Oatmeal, it's a webcomic that did bring up some drama backlash, 2 years ago, with this strip that depicted male and female gamers:
[t]http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m2or3x07bM1qet9hvo1_1280.png[/t]
[t]http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m2or3x07bM1qet9hvo2_1280.png[/t]
The author apologized for this strip, saying it wasn't his intention to show the topic this way, and gave money to some charity. It ended well for both sides.
Obviously, Preston feel the need to bring back to the dead this comic, that was long forgotten, and to relate it to his own problems in his journal which he explain how people are "missing" the point.
Not only Tom is ironicaly missing the point himself (he thinks it's because the girl gamer is depicted as a blonde, while it's actually how she just major screwed up), but his whole argument is about how you cannot critizice a comic ("IT'S JUST A COMIC STRIP") because otherwise you're doing it wrong, according to him. The rest of his journal is him saying that he too has to deal with these sort of things, and then it turns into his usual passive-agressive behavior against criticism.
It’s really sad because being critical is a wonderful thing to be. It doesn’t just mean being critical of things you don’t like, it means being critical of things you do as well.
also, 20 years to see any character developement, isn't really the best example that Preston could provide.
I don't think that the blonde thing was the public opinion in dobson's case. It's definitely his opinion. He always gets his jimmies in a rustle over blonde link or blonde princess peach.
As stupid as his fans are, I'm sure most of them will realize it's just a damn hair color. But being that it's people who actually like dobson and think they can "relate" to him, I don't know what to think.
Also that's a shitload of copypasting.
He's sort of right with the fact a character's characteristics develop over time but he's a blind idiot thinking you can't make a non-stereotypical female, everyone is individual sure but facial structures and so forth are pretty common and since a lot of mediums such as books, TV, Films and games have a huge range of characters in them it's pretty obvious that they're eventually going to become similar and have characteristics defined by their features (long blonde hair blue eyes long legs etc fits in with a slut or a dumb blonde), it's only on a written background we can see better depth.
Look at Preston's avatar (if you call it that) in my mind it portrays as actually quite a hideous looking person and I'm not saying this because of my general dislike but he fits the "stereotype" of this type of person: http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g172/christalltall/l_c903c2b5b89e717fea572db869720d81.jpg
It gives me the general feeling he's unkempt and scruffy and this fits a social stereotype of a social outcast or a fat neck-beard (for lack of better word) he seems to think that this doesn't apply for his character when he clearly contradicts himself. His character is bland and uninteresting, but because of his 'comics' you get his back story (bad may it be) and you build a character. What he seems to say is that all women are stereotypes if you put them in some form of media, but not all men.
TL;DR - he's a massive hypocrite
What the hell?
what do you mean, now you have a chance to be interview by a serious modeling agency!
Preston
I think he doesn't quite realize that different types of characters can be used for different purposes. Which somebody that frequently uses strawmen [i]should.
If you want to write a "real" character, then yes adding detail will slowly but eventually distinguish it from the crowd because it's not the individual traits that are original, but the composition, which is infinitely easier to come up with than to come up with a completely original and maybe even seemingly alien trait.
But especially in caricatures and jokes like he does them and like the oatmeal does them, it's not about realism but about satire, which amplifies key characteristics and uses stereotypes on purpose. Stereotypes can, similar to symbols, be used to quickly convey a message using only visuals. A guy in a suit doesn't /have/ to be a successful businessman or professional, but as a symbol he can be used to convey exactly that in advertisements for example to create a certain image.
Is this really rocket science?
