nicotine is very toxic wheras THC and other cannabinoids are very non-toxic. take all the nicotine from 1 cigar in a syringe and inject urself ur dead. even 1 whole cannabis plant injected in ur bloodstream wont kill u lol
Yes, it is very potent, and toxic. If caffeine were as potent, it would be fairly toxic as well. Cannabinoids are insanely non-toxic. Salt, water and so on are far more toxic. I can't think of anything that is less toxic, actually. Oxygen perhaps?
If nobody tries whats the point? Why just make the entire government fascist and get it over with?
they already tried many times and guess what nothing happens that shit is pointless
This really won't work.
This really won't work.
finally someone who opened his eyes
hahahhaha. You are naive to a point of being in the autistic spectrum if you think petitions get things done. ESPECIALLY something like this.

Signed and shared on facebook. I hope this can actually do something.
The problem is cartels. If it's Farmer Joe growing some weed in his field that he sells for some extra cash, it's all rainbows and sunshine. It's when people start getting killed that it becomes a problem.
Holy shit, this petition is getting around 5 votes a second.
Of which the same criticisms could be applied to all conventional stimulants? [editline]27th May 2011[/editline] In any case, my point is that vaporization is the drug delivery system of the future (today!), and dramatically decreases any risks that come with burning chemical cocktails like cannabis and tobacco.
Nicotine is horrid. It is highly addictive even on it's own and it has links with cancer even without the tar and random chemicals. I'm sure everyone has a chronic cigarette smoker as a friend and they know when they don't have their daily fix they get all cranky and irritable.
I signed it. I don't really care how futile it is, I'd still like to see it reach 500,000.
hahahhaha. You are naive to a point of being in the autistic spectrum if you think petitions get things done. ESPECIALLY something like this.
I think everyone knows that petitions on their own usually don't do anything. But if there's even a 0.01% chance of it at least assisting with the subject mentioned it should be taken into consideration. No one in this thread is naive, quite the opposite infact, they just want the war to end.
can't tell if serious
What do you mean? About what?
The illegality of drugs makes the price sky high anyway. If they were legalised the price would go down and the tax involved would likely still end up cheaper than drugs as it is. [editline]25th May 2011[/editline] Stronger narcotics like what? Heroin for example can be a very safe drug given the right circumstances. http://insciences.org/article.php?article_id=6555
Right circumstances will be abused. I can accept cannabis since it is a lower tier drug, but heroin and cocaine? No thank you. Where the fuck did you get those facts. [editline]27th May 2011[/editline]
Right circumstances will be abused. And if the doctors don't give them enough, guess what happens.
you really believe that shit will stop drug war? what a joke
yea same as gay rights so we should just all give up.
yea same as gay rights so we should just all give up.
gay rights is a more fesable option than ending a government funded program running for 50 years
I'm pretty sure injecting any foreign objects into your blood stream is very very harmful. Where the fuck did you get those facts.
So those vaccinations and the Anesthetic that the doctors gave me were REALLY BAD for me? I should sue.
Almost 350k, I'm pretty impressed, hopefully we'll get to that 500k mark and more importantly hope it makes an impact
So those vaccinations and the Anesthetic that the doctors gave me were REALLY BAD for me? I should sue.
Wow comparing medicine proven to help fight diseases in your blood to recreational drugs that aren't supposed to be in there.
Right circumstances will be abused. I can accept cannabis since it is a lower tier drug, but heroin and cocaine? No thank you.
They'll be abused regardless of the legality of the substances, so why not try to reduce the harm they cause by legalizing and controlling them as opposed to causing more harm and wasting money by throwing them in jail? Seriously, I don't understand the logic behind keeping them illegal.
Wow comparing medicine proven to help fight diseases in your blood to recreational drugs that aren't supposed to be in there.
No you said "I'm pretty sure injecting any foreign objects into your blood stream is very very harmful. Where the fuck did you get those facts.". Foreign objects would be anything injected into your body so you are wrong in defending your statement. Also some drugs are injected by doctors and are also injected recreationally so your argument is retarded.
It will be interesting to see what comes out of the meeting. Hopefully something useful and constructive.
Despite most people supporting this thing, for some reason many of them are too stoned and/or lazy to vote and/or try to muster support for this sort of thing. Unfortunately the people who oppose this in the right wing nuts hate it and they do a lot more work than in comparison to the left wing nuts to stop the war on drugs.
gay rights is a more fesable option than ending a government funded program running for 50 years
Yea only because now we are at the point where it looks like 8we are winning. %0 years ago its just like the war on drugs today. If no ones willing to do anything then nothing will happen.
If you think that will stop drug war, you're wrong :v: [editline]29th May 2011[/editline]
They'll be abused regardless of the legality of the substances, so why not try to reduce the harm they cause by legalizing and controlling them as opposed to causing more harm and wasting money by throwing them in jail?
Except that if you made them legal, all the drug dealers and cartels could sell it without the fear of getting arrested and earn millions.
Yep like they do with cigs. I mean who needs to go to a liquor store when you can go to a dark alley and pay twice the price.
Signed.
150k odd signatures in one day, seems unlikely unfortunately.
72 hours to go until this is delivered to the UN along with the report from former heads of state calling for an end to prohibition. Please get as many people to sign as possible.
500,000 already. Yay. Hope something comes of it.
