seems like you are automatically sorting albums by track name instead of track number, try rightclicking an album and sorting it differently.
if it doesnt automatically sorts by track number after that, you probably have to search around in the settings for a bit.

it's to do with how the pathing works when foobar imports files. You've got it as track name before track number.

Don't use a theme because:
a) It's mostly under windows anyway, so it's not a big deal.
b) None of the themes I tried seemed to like folder view, which is needed for me.

nothing too fancy, it's usually minimized so I don't care about appearance to much, just functionality

I have it set to watch the itunes media folder, so it's easier to sync shit to my ipod and keep everything in one place

Yes, you can go in and increase the buffer length.

I hope it does, if not, you could also try increasing the process priority of foobar in the process manager.

On windows 7: CTRL + SHIFT + ESC -> Processes

usually after i add stuff to my playlist i click Edit > Sort > Sort By

this is the sort string I use

$stripprefix(%ARTIST%) - $stripprefix(%ALBUM%) - %DISCNUMBER% - %TRACKNUMBER% - $stripprefix(%TITLE%)

I'm pretty sure you can do that very easily using the [URL="http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_facets"]Facets[/URL] panel.

wait, I think I got it wrong, if you want the covers to stick to the tracks (instead of being in a seperate list) then Facets isn't the way to go, you might be able to do that by using ColumnsUI and scripting stuff but it's a pain

Here's a quick setup that uses just ColumnsUI. (font is part of my system, not included in the skin :v)

If you want to use this setup to get started, just download [URL="http://yuo.be/columns.php"]ColumnsUI[/URL], place the .dll in your foobar/components folder, launch foobar whilst making sure to select ColumnsUI after launching it, and go to File>Preferences>ColumnsUI>FCL Importing and Exporting>Import and pick the [URL="http://www15.zippyshare.com/v/53396576/file.html"]FCL[/URL], and you're done.
