You know, if you make the hole specific shapes, it'll give you some neat bokeh effects. If I wanted everything to be out of focus, I'd take my glasses off.
I'm taking lots of pictures with a shitty point and shoot. I took photography in high school and the teacher loved me for it, but that's not fair competition because most students just take the class to dick around. Would love to get a good SLR, but can't really afford to fork out some absurd amount of money for a decent camera :frown:

My ex takes really shitty pictures in sepia and calls it art.

Ive been doing photography as a subject for 4 years now, I like how more people are getting into it, especially with the prices of DSLR and hybrid cameras. Its just raising the aesthetic qualities of what people take. What I dont like is people who have a good camera and instantly consider themselves artists, then make their own facebook group and crap.
You aren't a photographer if you only take shitty photos of flowers and blur your aperture, fucking hipsters. A lot of scene kids try to major in photography only to find out how actually technical it is.

Do you know how Shutter Speed and Aperture relate too each other? A. Yes. B. No C. Lol whats that? XD. Can you recall the four types of lighting? A. Yes. B. No. C. Uhhh, The bright kind, The less bright kind, Not as dark, and really dark...lol One final question. Do you know where the Shutter Release button is? A. Haha....Yeah B. The one that takes the picture? C. Lol stop using wirds like that XD If you answered A too all of the above, Congratulations! You have passed this meaningless test that wasn't thought out and will probably get me banned. If you answered B, There is hope for you! Read some books, Ask questions on Photography Forums, Read up on tutorials (http://photo.tutsplus.com/), and Stick with it :) If you answered C, :frog: edit: Shit, Pageking. Some moments in my life using a point and shoot where I really, really wished I had an SLR :saddowns: I hate that feeling so much, you see something that you may only see once in your life, and you either miss the shot or the camera fucks it up. The lighting above was a nightmare with this camera.
Those are some nice images toad, wouldnt look the same with a SLR and I think those look rather good.

Hold on while I upload something.
Photography isn't limited to overly expensive cameras with numerous lenses. For several years I did a lot of my work on a simply point and shoot. I still managed decent photography.
It was ment too be a joke.
Those are some nice images toad, wouldnt look the same with a SLR and I think those look rather good.
Well, here, these are the true failures. Two other people in the bus had SLRs and were getting fantastic shots. This is probably the weirdest natural lighting I had seen in my life, and I missed it :| The entire countryside was a deep, high contrast orange and black. Though you can't really see any of the lighting on the ground, the sky sets the exposure every time, and if I tried to change the ISO speed or exposure manually, it'd look even worse.

The lighting above was a nightmare with this camera.
(quoting at full size because you deserve it) This is what I was talking about earlier. It does not take an expensive camera to get good pictures. It takes a little creative thought is all, and I think these pictures are prime examples of good shots from a crappy phone camera or whatever it was.
It was a Kodak Easyshare M240. As far as point and shoots go it's pretty good, but I mean these were prime moments to take magnificent pictures, but I only got a fraction of the true beauty. It's like you take the picture, look down, and just think "wow that's nothing like what's out there" Needless to say those pictures were pretty nice, but I've got something near 5000 photos on the memory card, and 80% of them are blurred or grainy.

It was a gift actually. As were the SLR lenses that I was given.
