Because the happy customer voting gets you only 50-55 people to vote for you while doing outreach on social media/forums gets 300+?
It's pretty clear that's the case. Every "good" and "popular" bakery on that list has about 50-75 votes while the top three clearly did some outreach to try and get support/interest in their bakery. I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with it.

It's really about getting the word out to people - who we are and what we do. Even if I just got some of you to follow us on facebook, visit our site, or say "Damn Sam, this stuff looks fantastic." I'd feel satisfied.

So went into Boosalis today, couldn't spend much time cause it was almost closing time and I had to go to work.
But anyways, it was really good :)
Tried out a cranberry turkey sandwitch, which is served on some kind of craberry-walnut bread. They serve it on a nice fancy square plate and everything too.
Also ordered a chocolate crusaant (sp?) with a sticky bun. The croiscants were probably the best I've had in a long while.
What was best about the place though is everyone was just super nice, I dind't even tell em much about myself or anything, just that it was my first time in. He went in and gave me a free croicscants (FFF THAT WORD), and tried a mackeral as well. Both were very good. Very nice, everyone was just super excited to see a new face and to tell me about the place basically.
I wish I coulda tried more stuff, but it was close to closing time so they had a lot of their inventory already gone and I was running late for work. I'll have to come in when they aren't about to close :)
