If CoD was on Commodore 64, would the title screen look like this?
Had some fun with filters and stuff. I'll maybe add the title at some point.
I can see the effort put into it.
You should win a nobel or something.
There's a reason why the Americans won during the revolutionary war. The British walked in straight lines in bright red with a white X across their torsos, practically giving the Americans a target to aim at.
They were also mainly made up of American loyalist troops which apparently were useless in battle. Most of the actual British army was in the middle east. And being outnumbered 3 to 1 also helps.
And, ya know, all that help they got from the French.

no because then they would have chosen a motive that works better with 8-bit graphics.

Slide ain't rockin back, the guns seem to have no recoil and it doesn't look very dynamic posewise. Hands are short, too.
gun is tiny, too.
Pistol doesn't look tiny to me. Looks like an M9 in size.
But then again the design looks like a Desert Eagle, so it is too small in that respect.

Since this thread is under the blessing of everybody's friend 3v3rybody, I thought I'd pop in and leave my mark.(that's funny because it's a part of my name)
With no further ado here's Moe from The Simpsons, he used to be a boxer.

head needs more definan, but it's all cool as always.
Remember that you should take the muzzleflashes into consideration with your lighting and colour-scheme. I assume it's dark so they should give off quite a bit of orange light.
muzzle flashes are huge with this kind of guns, your muzzle flash atm is incorrect cause if slide is at that stage and casing is that far, the gases should be pmuch burnt and there'd be just a smoke cloud.

Just a quick sketch of the Sydney Opera House
So this week I had my semester exams. I still have 4 more to go but today I had my Yearbook "Exam" which was basically finishing up my yearbook page. If you don't know what a yearbook is then its this:
A yearbook, also known as an annual, is a book to record, highlight, and commemorate the past year of a school or a book published annually. Virtually all American, Australian and Canadian high schools, most colleges and many elementary and middle schools publish yearbooks. ... wikipedia
[img_thumb]http://wsa.wesleyan.edu/wp-content/uploads/yearbook.gif[/img_thumb]
so yeah... I posted that because I know most of you might be European.
These are my yearbook pages. MUN (Model United Nations) and NHS (National Honors Society)
NHS

I had 3 days to do this because the person who was originally working on it left without telling my teacher. I wanted to switch it up with the pictures so they wouldn't all be squares and rectangles but then again, I only had 3 days to work on this and most the time was spent asking around for pictures, thinking of a design and getting the design to my liking. If you notice, I spelled out the letters LHS with the background. thats our school initials, Lakenheath High School It looks better than most pages in the yearbook.
the MUN page is in PDF format. And I accidentally moved the background picture of the 2nd page so now it bled over to the 1st. Its not like that in the original being sent to the publishing company.

My teacher said I'm probably her best student :D
I would REALLY LIKE some critique please. Most of my stuff seems to get ignored in this thread.

Europeans don't have yearbooks?
How have they managed to make me think I live in europe for so long? Fucking well played.
Your design is really boring and bad. Strong yucky magenta colour, images aren't in any form of order, yet not chaotic either which is really the worst of both worlds. You're trying to hard to be stylish by having white lines go through it all to look cool, drop the lines and just keep it simple, have lots of images racked up nicely and tidy OR go for a collage look where images overlap eachother and are really tucked into each other and such.
Drop the inner glow/shadow on the NHS, it looks terribad and doesn't match the single coloured surroundings.
Europeans don't have yearbooks?
It's not the norm in the UK. If a school does it then they probably ask the students to fund it.

She looks like a bitch
Also, you should put captions under more than like two of the pictures.

Suckers.
We have two yearbooks. One by the school, another by the students thanks to our Russe tradition that is a celebration for soon finishing high school. (only featuring third graders and second graders that finish high school that year, if they chose to be a russ)
What up

me gusta mucho.
Its my first time with a yearbook. that was some extreme critique right there dgg...
well. Glad to know my stuff is shit right after I got praised for it. yay.
Constructive critisim right? eh...
Also, now that I think of it, I don't like the lines either. I had my MUN page done for months but kept adding on to it. Now looking at the original design, I liked that much better.
although, a collage would have looked terrible with our yearbooks though. every year the pages come out really pixilated for some reason. Especially when somebody uses a gradient. If I could show you, I would. Last year they incorporated it into the "theme" so the theme was Comic Book although when I think of comics I don't think of pixels. I'm not sure if its the company being the cheapest we can find or the students who do something dumb...
I even asked my teacher today if the gradients and the lines looked goofy and she said she thought they were "AWESOME" so I kept them. I was even sceptical about them at first until I asked her :/
:sigh:

I do love how that sounds. Thy will be done.
Album cover for "Faraday," the real-live fake band my friends and I have started. You may say that creating an album cover before you've actually written any music is foolish, and I respectfully agree. I don't think we could use this anyway, it's basically just a trace from a Google'd image of Lost's Faraday, but I thought it turned out neat looking.

@Detlef: I think greens and yellows would look smashing.
Just a heads up, if I get rated disagree then I have no idea what you're on about, its more useful for me if you just post telling me what you think. A lot more informative that way.

The coloring on the blood looks real nice and the bruise looks a little bit too discolored especially in the core area of the wound. The shadows on the front part of the neck are too sharp to be skin, they should dissipate as distance goes.
