You got to chose. Make a good comic and have it as a side thing or make a good comic that will have lots of merchandise attached to it which will in most cases just be something wipped up to appeal to your customers.
I don't see google ads bringing you any livable cash. Nor one good t-shirt opposed to 50 semi-decent ones.
And I don't think of NKF as a serious school either so we're on the same waveline there.
