That looks pretty good.
Because my friend told me once that my drawing looked like a black guy. I've been scared to shade ever since.
get over it and get practising. my first digital portrait looked like a bad wax figure and it has embarrassed me ever since. i've done 3 more since and now they're mediocre. woo!
Actually I was going to paint this on the comp so that's why I hesitated on shading.
yeah post apocalyptic shit is always fun. and gasmasks, man I love them
people that are not in danger of toxic inhalation should still were them just because they're badass
What about the infection? or bad smells such as dead and decaying bodies?
i guess thats a point but i still say if your going to walmart you should still were one
Yeah, I would.
Because my friend told me once that my drawing looked like a black guy. It wouldn't make sense if she touched the rat's ass.
The technique you use for fur dgg is really terrible. waay to repetitive
Yupp, I don't have the time to make it more unique.
poor dgg, getting shot down so many times, I guess that's what criticism is
No. Lucky me getting so much criticism. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. It was also more than enough to see Boone Sedford giving me an artsie rating.
Actually I'll say that it looks worse or just as bad as before. I've seen so many of your wips on that piece and they haven't been getting before. You should just move on.
Move on? For a task that is supposed to be delivered? I think not. 2 more days till the deadline and this is just one of the tasks. So I should hurry the fuck up however.
Actually I was going to paint this on the comp so that's why I hesitated on shading.
you've got the scan of the line-drawing now to work from digitally. not practice shading with graphite.
I meant the painting in Xephio's comic.
Oh, because the frame became bigger when I squished in the overlapping frame, and why would I draw more of the painting when I could just flip it?
dgg how much time have you spent on the rat pic
I like the rat pic.
dgg how much time have you spent on the rat pic
50 times more time than a person would use to make this: [img_thumb]http://th07.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2010/256/8/6/lms___hex___by_adonihs-d2yi62d.jpg[/img_thumb] Totally I think I've spent some... 5~7 hours I guess. Including the drawings. It's pretty sad. But hey, that's just the way it is. Things will never be the same.
helloooo Adonihs [editline]30th March 2011[/editline] and yeah, that's sad
And yeah, that's sad
Cries me a river.
Let me taste your tears dgg
mmmmm, people crying makes me hard. Bad time to share that.
oh man drawing faces is so hard. They all come out wonky.
Let me taste your tears dgg
No, I store them in bottles, tag them with date and reason and keep them in the attic. Some day it'll become a valuable collection. I'm sure of it. Have to hit the hay although I'd rather sit up and finish this goddamn rat image. But oh well. Have to actually manage to wake up since I'm going to a painting course tomorrow because of work (painting as in painting the house, not art. Course as in what to use and how and what to recommend the customers for different situations). Didn't get further than this for now: [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3655193/PoasesesRat05.jpg[/img_thumb]
Just leaving this here
paint a giant dick on their wall
Didn't get further than this for now: [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3655193/PoasesesRat05.jpg[/img_thumb]
I think you should probably stop work on it unless you're willing to change how you're making the fur/hair cos right now it looks like leaves or something.
paint TWO giant dicks on their wall
I think you should probably stop work on it unless you're willing to change how you're making the fur/hair cos right now it looks like leaves or something.
Yeah it's better to not even try to deliver the tasks instead of at least delivering something. Suuure.
good luck for a career in graphic design if that's your outlook. [editline]30th March 2011[/editline] ~acceptable~ is not acceptable.
Some guy wants me to draw some stylish comic book style pin up art of some people. How much should I take per drawing? I have basicly never drawed for money...
Would be interesting if you're drawing pin up girls, cos we all know how much you hate drawing women right? Also it's hard to judge how much they'd be worth without some sort of sketchup first.
I once did one for $20 for a simple thing with shading and junk. I do like $40 for me doing digital camouflage and the whole shebang. I think it's what it's worth to you. I mean if you crank out art at alarming rates like I used to. That's a pretty good starting price.
well I refuse to go under 50 so maybe 60-70$ would be okay?
