I think that would be okay.
Seeing your calibre of work.

$47.58 per page
[editline]30th March 2011[/editline]

I dunno
I don't get paid till the iphone apps i'm working on hit the app stores :(
I don't get paid because all the people who bought from me lost there jobs somehow.
My drawings are bad luck.
You should get into the habit of pushing the price detlef, as freelance work can become scarce. If you start off extremely high and get it lowered to medium, you get more then starting low and getting paid low.
I don't get paid because I'm shit at drawing.

I agree with this.
Be like "well normally I ask $110 per page but for you... $55" and they'll be all "WHERES MY WALLET GOD DAMN"
I have 3 drawing jobs (10 pieces together), a concept art project that needs to be done in 1,5 weeks (another 10 drawings) and ZW to take care of.
Oh my god

Will someone please help me, i have a project in visual arts where i have to draw something including all of the principles of art, but i can't think of anything. I was going to do some minecraft thing but that's getting kind of old, plus no one in school would get the reference.

I created this music video for a friend. I'm awaiting acceptance from a few film festivals, but it did get accepted into the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (nffty.org)!

The film is better than that horrible guitar player. Holy shit like one chord x 100000 + mellow monotone voice.

Alice Glass of Crystal Castles
Her shoulders are raised up, which doesn't look natural.
Her eyes are way too big.
Her jaw is way too pointy.
There's no lighting source. The lighting looks like it's coming from the right and so I mistook her cheek hollow for makeup.
The proportions are also really off.
I was kinda wondering why your drawings looked kinda nice, yet bad, then I realized you were drawing from a reference and wondered how you managed to screw them up like that.
http://posemaniacs.com will help, try the "30 second drawing" thing and start from 90 seconds and try to get poses down quickly.

No, my outlook is that you're never finished. But a deadline can't fix that.
~acceptable~ is better than NOTHING AT ALL.

Different skill levels bro.
I've never focused or learned drawing at all. It's just been some small hobby thing on the side.
And at least you can work at school. I can't do jack shit whilst at work.
no. a good artist knows when to stop working on something
[editline]31st March 2011[/editline]
thinking that something is never finished is but a trap that many artists fall into.

That depends what we are talking about.
Not stopping and adding it all sorts of details will just shit up your drawing, like my fur. It's more than needed and just looks like shit.
Thinking that there is always some improvements that can be done is a whole other thing. It could always be changed a bit, the shape could be a bit different, the composition could be altered a bit, maybe a different hue on that part, etc etc. That's something that will usually help it become cleaner and better instead of more detailed and shitty.

nope
you have to know when it's done, and when to stop.
you take all those adjustments you think will better the image, and use the knowledge to improve your next piece of work.

It wasn't supposed to be photorealistic. It's a stylized version of a portrait of Alice.
She's a major smackhead and a lead singer, so i figured overaccenting her features would be a nice idea.
Since it's MY version, your criticisms are unnecessary, unles i actually said ITS PHOTOREALISTIC OF THIS PHOTO RIGHT HERE. Have you even seen the girl? She looks like skeletor. Main part i was going for was shading on her jacket which i think i pulled of rather well.
iITS MY STYLEEEEEE
