I'm currently inking and coloring my old sketch I showed you guys in this thread, pages ago.
use longer less sketchy lines, like on the girl's jaw especially it looks way too sketchy for something with thick black lines.

Testing out MyPaint, doesn't exactly look like him v:v:v
Oh my god
They call me Christian "wideface" Bale.
He's not a million miles away. 30 second liquify. [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline] Also just used Illustrator for the first time. I can't believe I ever used photoshop for graphics work.
there's no turning back once you've started designing in illustrator. illustrators downfall is its type handling. are you at all familiar with indesign?
Testing out MyPaint, doesn't exactly look like him v:v:v
Is that a good program? I'm looking for a replacement for GIMP and its shit ass UI but can't be arsed to get any of the big paint programs like photoshop.
I actually think the lighting isn't too bad. Just keep working on it.
Is that a good program? I'm looking for a replacement for GIMP and its shit ass UI but can't be arsed to get any of the big paint programs like photoshop.
It beats gimp that's for sure. I still prefer photoshop.
Photoshop - Work with image manipulation, very simple vector graphics and just all around image editing. Illustrator - Work with graphics. Logos. Illustrations. Pure design (nothing complex that requires images to be edited in other words). Things that requires few colours in general or doesn't need high amounts of realistic details unless you really need it to be highly scalable (sit and work with gradient meshing for 60 hours straight). Indesign - Put in everything you've made in the different programs, fine compose it and add text to it and work on it's compositons. Make it all ready for print.

Been using Illustrator to churn out files for the laser cutter at college so it's mainly MDF frameworks. I do have it handy though so I'll probably have a look see some time soon.

I use photoshop for everthing... Three software I use from Adobe: aftereffect, photoshop, and dreamweaver I can find similar, if not better, functions of all of their other software from these three or software by other comps (or Windows built-in)
First off I want to apologize for last night, I was running off 4 cups of coffee at 3 am, so I was a bit pissy. Now, here's an update with the insertion of the moped, currently all the parts are coming off a bit flat, I am probably going to finish the moped as a whole before trying to add anymore depth, as the "black chrome" is giving me issues. I actually like the change from walking to moped, as it gives a slight sense of comedy but preserves the bad assness. Also he will still be holding a beer while driving. now you need to give him a samurai sword on his back and a plastic bag from 7-eleven hanging on the scooter.
I was more of thinking making the moped yellow, giving him pink hair and a replace the gun with a guitar.
uhm
or a drive-by at McDonald's
drawing a fishie [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline] p.s. it's a starting sketch
I feel the upper tail piece can be longer.
i think you're right. taller but still curls round the same way?
I think the whiskers should be moved up nearer to the tip of the fish's snout as currently the one on the right made me think it had a proboscis for a while.
i think you're right. taller but still curls round the same way?
yep

@ 1chains1 how about a drive by at McDonald's while holding the head of KFC? or the other way around if you like KFC more.
chains all your drawings no matter what have a very slight slant to the right on them that I've noticed since your birth.
~cannot unsee~

Fish barbels are always further forwards. [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline] Also I have a friend who thinks Catfish are adorable and owns several large ones in a tank that takes up most of his room.
