This is a typical example of when you try very hard to come up with a good designe and the teacher likes the arbitrary doodle in the corner of the paper you made not even paying much attention to it. And yes, the appendage on it's tails is supposed to be there. I had to follow my freehand doodle millimeter to millimeter.
