I do.
No you don't
I do.
Don't lie, anyone can clearly see that there is no base colour.
No you don't
Yes I do :raise:
Hold up Im gonna make tutorial to show that you are wrong
You see the white between the different colours on you work?
Yer, that shows you didn't.

Ah, I see where you're getting at now. I was always taught to block in my colours and it's a bad habit I've gotten into. I tend to work them out as I go along. Not the best method, or what you guys like but it works for me.
I'll appreciate that tutorial Detlef, always open for other approaches.

White doesn't count
White isn't a coloooor
Thanks for the box info duh. How to draw a room with one point perspective if all the supposedly parallel lines, if extended, do not meet at a single point?

What do you mean they don't meet up to a single point?
If they don't in this type of example, the perspective is fucked up, isn't it?
Uhh..
He's right, it's a shade.
He's right, it's a shade.
Man I should know this stuff
Uhh..
You do know white is the reflection of all colours at the same time right?
And that black is the lack of reflection of any colour?
That's why they aren't colours but shades, like Dookster said.

dunno i am a beginner, i am just saying FOV can be altered in a 2 or more point perspective but how does this dude do it in an one point perspective? am i missing something here?
what
science

They meet at a single point, the point your perspective lines come from.
Look at the drawing again and see that the help lines all point to the middle and that everything in it just follows those lines and if extended would all meet in the middle.

Well, technically isn't there always at least 2 point perspective? If you were to rotate that living room you posted to look to the left, there would be another point leading to the horizon.
However, with the original view, the difference that point makes is nominal/non exist ant because you have a perpendicular view to it.
oh wow they do meet i feel sillyyy, with the naked guy it felt as if they don't
so there is no way to adjust the fov at an one point perspective? unless instead of a point you had like a little circle or something dunno
