Finally started figure painting again, and I managed to land myself in one Henry Yan's class, this guy is a god of god's of figure painting. Seriously I'm so stoked. Here's what I came with today in 4 hours of work with oils on a 14x16 canvas. (He made this master piece as a demo for us in 10 minutes, seriously this was like hours of work done in 10 minutes, he could have sold it for $500 easy, and as soon as he was done, he asked, did everyone understand? We were like yeah, he says okay then, grabs tissue and wipes the painting away. Where do people find the patience to paint with oil? Hell, even acrylic dries too slow for me.

It makes them dry faster if you're more interested in layering your colors on top of each other rather than mixing your colors on canvas.
