Creative Work That Doesn't Deserve A Thread V6 <3v3ryb0dy Hypocrite Critiques Edition>

Yeah I might just try a quick fix or scrap that and try something different.
So me and TrueWolf are thinking about doing a live cast of photoshop and some other programs to teach some of the people here the basics so they don't keep posting utter shit. Do you think anyone would be interested in watching?
I was thinking of organising a thread where someone writes/live casts a tutorial every week. Some kind of mega tutorial thread with a whole lineup of different teachers. The two ideas could be incorporated, although it would all be done for free.

It would be good to start a drawing resources thread, to post handy tutorials that floats around the web... Not sure about the idea of someone here making actually tutorials.

I seem to remember there being one, but they quickly die as they don't really attract much conversation.
Combining all the ideas, the thread could contain useful resources and links and if people want to write tutorials they can post them there. The key to make it an advantageous thread for CC would be for people to attempt the tutorials, then the 'teachers' to give feed back and help them improve.
I'm sure people would love to see a tutorial from you, truewolf and onox37. We'll just have to make sure that only approved people make tutorials to ensure quality.

I actually quite like it. It gives the impression of her sitting in that pose with a nice amount of detail. Getting hung up on the small details, which I didn't really take notice of until it was pointed out, may well spoil it.
Plus, the pose in your image is actually more interesting than your reference. But hey, if you want to scrap it, it's developmental work for a portfolio all the same
Yeah it's nice to look at, but it would be better if it was correct
Might I request a redline or a quick paintover?
Edit: Better?

The problem with the right leg here is that it sticks too far out, it becomes fat and small. It also doesn't point in towards any kneecap, it just seems to merge right in to the ass.
forgot to put this here

Stuff above is really nice.
No worries, 3v3 is alive. Let me just say that someone messed his computer up and since then he uses his father's or mother's if he really needs it...
He'll be back, eventually.
Anyway, a random quick doodle I did in..literature class, I guess..

I'm really bad at fonts. So if anyone has some good sites for learning how to pick out the correct fonts for different situations, and just general protips about fonts then that would be wonderful.
But I guess it's just my poor taste first and all that reflects through my font choices. Also my limitation to free to use fonts, just in order to not get in any legal problems later on.

I was really scared by this picture when I scrolled down...
It's the wide eye, I think. That's nothing for two hours work, it seems. Try getting faster and caring less about making it perfect.

changed up the eye, let me know if it looks less scary
I didn't notice you had put him in the quote.
Centered and shined up the MOT design #1. Made the background 5 hues stronger in order for it to blend more and create a bigger contrast causing it to also be more calm to look at as it becomes a bit darker.

Well thank you. We know each other personally and both live about three minutes from each other here in San Francisco. We planned on doing it together so that if one of us fucks up, we can back the other up.

Okay I know you're new to drawing digital and stuff and this is why what I'm about to say is veeeeery important.
Don't use softbrushes, don't blur your drawing don't smudge it, use hard values and your brush on 100% opacity. It'll look blocky but you will learn the right way

And it was a good first try btw
looks really good, not liking the beard, though.

I think you focused too much on drawing scribbly lines than actually trying to get the poses right. When you do stuff like this it´s handy to have some reference poses to be sure you get it right. Most of these makes no sense at all.
And you should resize the image, it´s pretty big
what the fuck
redline it Detlef
are those even people
half of them look like frogs
A yupp
[editline]15th February 2011[/editline]
But I can't bitch about it because 1chain1' s gonna get mad at me
Is there a reason why everybody's been ignoring my last few posts?
