You want to make sure you draw the viewer's eyes to around the eye area with some strong detail and contrast there. Try sharpening the hair around that area at the end perhaps. I'd just be careful.

What I can see here is that you have only used the colors orange and green for the eyes. If you look at real life pictures of anything you se that there's much more colors to it than meets the eye. study some photos and see what makes the colors special. I dunno if you can save this piece with it but it's smart to know in the future

But you lines seems a bit static/short/forced try to loosen it up.

Ink costs alot these days, bro, gotta stay green. Hard to go loose when the doodle is sized 1".
