There is. The long ass faces does not look good. But it would be silly to suddenly draw them more properly (yet stylized) now when it is a continuous webcomic with a story that has started off with that style.

Too bad you don't have one.

And yes there is such a thing as "art style labeled as anime".
You can't label an art style as Anime because the definition of the word is Japanese Animation. How is this not getting through.
Disney is anime because anime is animation. We use anime to refer to Japanese animation but since you want to be so goddamn specific and nitpicky about it, yes, Disney movies are anime.
To the Japanese Disney may be Anime, to the Western World Anime is Japanese animation.
In Italy a flick of your fingers under your chin is a gesture for "I don't give a shit", in America people wouldn't know what the hell you're trying to show.
See what I'm getting at here?
It won't be considered anime because it resembles the stereotype of anime too much? That makes no fucking sense.
The stereotype of anime is a misunderstanding. There is no such thing as an Anime art style, and therefore art drawn by an outsider of Japan is not Anime, no matter how much it may resemble their animation.
Again, for the last fucking time, the definition of Anime is animation that has originated in Japan. That's it, nothing else. There is no Anime art style.
Most Japanese animation features people with pointy chins and large eyes, that doesn't mean the style can be labeled Anime. Just like we don't label cartoons to one specific style, you shouldn't do that with Anime.
I can't possibly make this any clearer.

A lot of Western animation has talking animals, that doesn't mean you're going to label a drawing of a talking animal as a cartoon.
If you can't label it as anime, when most japanese animations are done in a similar style to each other anyway, then what the heck do you call it?
Shovel facing?
can you guys just stop arguing this is getting really boring.

Spent about 30 minutes on it and I just don't like it. Not going to finish.
Looks like if moles decided to wear hazard suits.

Felt like painting a Clint Eastwood aswell because he is badass. JPG quality cba to fix it.
Your style is great detlef, just your facial structures don't have much variation. I've only seen you draw the same pointy chins or square chins, no inbetweeners.
well I want to introduce more characters so I can actually have someone to show the variations on

Or just draw characters non-related to Zombie Waffe and post them. v:v:v

Opacity on your brush should be at 100%
"dis is my style of painting n u shud also do it 2"
I find my results working with 100% basecolours and then 30-60% opacity are fairly nice.
I have it set up to pen pressure... it's just like that when I want to mix colours.
That said, the painting isn't looking that nice. You need to block the colours in better even if you are working at lower opacities.
Okay, will do.
Where you have solid transitions between colour though it looks pretty nice, like on the bridge of the nose and the eye, so I expect this to get better with more work.

Chesty u know I'm right
This aint something i say because I do it. But it's something I've picked up from pro painters. LIKE FENG ZHU HE SAYS SO
How do you mix your colours if you have your brush at 100% opacity all the time?
I set the colour palette with basecoulours and work it out from there
Do you pick every single colour you use then?
Yes
