There's a really weird seam around his neck that you should check into, and I would do [i]something[/i] with the hair, it doesn't match up with the rest of him (since it's lit) the rest is pretty good though.

I'm saying stop brush raping/tracing images and do some realistic drawing so you can actually understand... something... anything.
I don't know what you expect to achieve by tracing over photos with some horrible brushes. And no, by "achieve" I don't mean in a capitalist sense of "get recognition, sell art, make money etc etc." I mean, you're not learning anything or becoming any better at any form of art by making this crap.
I mean, does painting this stuff really make you feel good about yourself? In all honesty I'd feel like a little shit for effectively cheating, lying and trying to pass off work that requires 0% effort as something remotely "artistic" that you put work in to.
If you're going to do this rubbish, at least make it clear that all you did was trace over an image with your favourite brushes, instead of just posting the picture and letting people think you actually did some work.
But whatever, keep posting on DA and FB and letting idiots think you actually have some skill.

Oh god, I just blew up a drone and that felt good, screw the new guns, this shotgun is my bitch. A second thought came to my mind, is something suppose to happen? If anything, I hope I didn’t just turn myself into a prime enemy to the combine. Best thing to do would probably to run like hell just in case it has one those GPS beacons. I ran as fast I could, as long as it was away from the blasted drone. Just few yards ahead of me, I saw a ruined shopping mall. I remembered its glory days, when the many roads were jammed just so people could shop in it, it’s quite silly, but it gives a sense of nostalgia. What if Combine troops are hiding in there? Damn, there are just a lot of paranoid thoughts running through my head, if anything, I should check the map again.
Checking the map, I looked glanced at the path I should follow, I looked harder and noticed the path doesn’t make half sense, I mean; the line goes directly through several buildings in a straight line. I lowered my map to look around for any dangers. I noticed a manhole in front of me. I looked at the map again and realized “Well screw you Mr. Cartographer. That took me a few moments to figure out”. I opened the manhole and got down into the sewers. It was pitch black in here. Am I suppose walk blind to the hide out? I walked in a manner that I continue to feel the wall. I saw a light in the distance, it did help brighten the environment, don’t know if it was ally or not. I held my shotgun close to me incase it was hostile. It started to give off a mechanical buzz. As it come closer, it became horribly clear to me. It was kind of tiny drone with a spinning blade. I think it was called a manhack. Whatever it is, it must die! It flew with grace. I stood with my shotgun with honour. Shit, son of a bitch, I missed. As it got closer, I swung my shotgun like a barbarian and smashed it to pieces.
The lights were out again. Back to darkness for me I guess. I remembered walking through these sewers as a kid. I used to pretend I was some special ops soldier with my friends. We opened manholes together pretending we were infiltrating our way to the enemy base, but we always get caught by the police and get sent back home with a sentence of 7 days in my room (which was actually just an hour). I started to hear radio chatter in the distance. I hope it’s just a radio that’s just been left on for a while, because if it’s not, I’m probably screwed. Out of no where, this bright red flare hit the wall and down the ground. I immediately jumped into the sewer water, sensing a bad omen coming along. I peeped out just enough so that I’m barely noticeable. I saw some combine soldiers walk to towards their broken pride and joy; the manhack. They started talking. It wasn’t clear to me what they were saying. One of them held some kind of mafia-style machinegun towards the water. My thoughts raced faster than he can pull the trigger. I went deeper into the water for protection. I tried to open my eyes in the murky water. I watched bullets fly into the water and it went like a slow motion scene in an action flick.
There was this faint noise. I tried to peep out of the water. I saw the soldiers firing their weapons into the abyss of the sewers. One soldiers rolled into the water with his machinegun dead. Whoever it is they’re shooting, it must be a friend… Or some kind of hideous monster, but whatever, now is my chance to gun them all down. I took the machinegun and peeped the barrel out of the water. I unleashed the whole damn drum on them. It suddenly became quiet. I got out of the water and looked around, with only the visibility provided from the still burning flare. Double kill. Triple kill. Overkill! I can only say I am the lost son of Master Chief.
At the distance, I saw guys with Kevlar, flashlights and hunting rifles. “That was a close one” I told them in relief. “Did the captain say anything about a rescue mission” one of the guys said. “No, he’s probably a combine spy”. The two men pointed their rifles at me. There was a sudden moment of ominous silence. I felt oncoming death. My life flashed before my very eyes. I suddenly felt it hit my head. Wait, I’m still alive! He thud the barrel of his rifle against my head again. “Psyche!” He said, following with obnoxious laughter. “Come on, you look like you need a place to stay” the other guy said. Well, looks like I’m in the Resistance![/quote]
