Got my hands on a wooden pose dummy today thanks to my Art teacher (and a chunk of soap stone to sculpt :V:). Been playing around for it, went for that "frolicking through a field of flowers" comedic pose: [IMG]http://gyazo.com/54c3c14eb7bbf3d2d266cb31e48377b0.png[/IMG]

You're, um, supposed to draw the dummy as anatomical/proportional reference... not as still-life.

Looks much better. Always gotta keep it close only paying attention to the motive, not it's surroundings (beyond what's relevant to the motive and it's setting).
