This is somewhat offtopic but it's the closest thing I can find to a Youtube megathread, so I'm just going to hope someone here might know.

How can I get Youtube to remember that when I go to the main page I want to see my subscriptions, and only their uploads?
My friends youtube remembers that for him automatically but mine does not for whatever reason, and I haven't the slightest clue why.

Even if no one knows how to fix it I'm curious how it is for everyone else:
Agree for Youtube not saving your preferences
Disagree for Youtube saves your preference
