I pretty much only listen to music on the way to and from school, and I could do without even that, although I would find it more boring that way
Yeah, certain badass songs make me better at gaming too.
I don't even listen to music. Why would I ? It's just noise that makes me less efficient.
Oh, you're one of those kind of assholes. :smug:
Some music helps when I'm feeling sad. Reggae, for example. It helps quite a lot, actually. I guess you could say I "rely" on music, in this way.
Whenever I worked with my old boss and he started stressing/getting pissed, I'd put on some Marley or general Reggae, always calmed him down, amazing how it works like that.

Could live without
It's the friend who's there for me when a friend can't be.
I get a really strange feeling when I'm walking or sitting at the PC without listening to any music, but it's not like I need it all the time. I rather listen to it when I can fully concentrate on it, instead of listening with half an ear just to have some background noise.
I pretty much fully rely on music because I am gonna go to a music college next year. But asides from that I also fully rely on it since it is one of the few outlets for my emotions.
I listen to music 16 hours a day. Without it, my life has no meaning.
Music is really all that is paying for my tuition...so I'd be fucked if it disappeared :v:
I got really agitated when I put my iPod through the washer, so I assume that means I'm dependent on it.
I go insane after 24 hours
i can hold about 3-4 days before i start to miss music (The reason why i could hold that long, is that i like to listen to ambient music and to listen to my environments for sound patterns and such, its so inspiring. heck, ALL sound is music to me) i have tinnitus, even that high pitched constant sound is music to me, it makes all other sounds i hear to have a special contrast to my tinnitus, i like it. but would prefer to not have tinnitus anymore
I can generally go a day or so without it, but if I don't pick up my guitar or dedicate some time to listening within the next day or two I get really pissy
Pro composer/orchestra teacher/choir director here. Music for me is breathing. There is no living without it.
I must be constantly listening to music or a bomb implanted in my head will explode
I need it to relax at school. No matter what type of music it is, it just takes me away from whatever is around me.
