lol I not really. That and the S2 is horrendously ugly.
What the raw figures don’t communicate is how responsive the Sensation feels in daily use. Side-by-side with the Galaxy S II, and it’s hard to tell the difference between the two phones: apps load quickly, webpages render at the same pace (in fact the Flash-heavy NYTimes.com frontpage finished on the HTC before it did on the Samsung). Even loaded down with simultaneously running apps, we didn’t feel like the Sensation was gasping for breath (or, indeed, for more RAM).
Back on topic, the App Review Board are currently looking at my appeal, so we should have a decision soon.
If for some reason it gets fucked, throw it on Cydia
If it gets rejected again they'll let me know why and what changes I need to make to fix it. Being infront of the App Review Board means there's a bunch of people sitting around a table looking at the application and deciding whether the original decision was wrong. I don't think it's going to take too long to decide the IAP decision was wrong, but they might well pull me up on some other part of the app, maybe a bug I didn't notice or something like that. My iOS developer subscription ends sometime in June, so hopefully I can get this into the store before then.
Man wouldn't that be a great job? Sitting on your ass playing with iPhone/iPad apps.
If you don't have an iPhone, don't vote.
I voted because I know I am getting one, does that count? Edit: Unless it's an android. I can't actually predict that. Did the android one ever get finished?

I'm sorry, but I just don't agree with the trial period. Applications that rely less on mere convenience and more on actually fulfilling a need (such as IM clients) have free, advertised versions with somewhat reduced functionality, and continue to encourage you to buy the full version. This application has no such option, instead tantalizing you with a trial period, then kicking your ass away until you can actually purchase it. Even a free app utilizing microtransactions for more features would be preferable to this approach. You're being outdone by Tap Zoo. Also worth noting is that although it is more inconvenient, you can still access Facepunch from Safari with near-full functionality. It's easier to trade a few conveniences than pay money for every account you may or may not have.
Good luck Hexxeh :ohdear:

Edit: Not to mention how seemingly impossible it would be to downgrade facepunch in an app that would actually be effective
im just gonna jailbreak it and get it for free (User was banned for this post ("Warez" - cosmic duck))
im just gonna jailbreak it and get it for free
You're jailbreaking your Facepunch account?
im just gonna jailbreak it and get it for free
You must be pretty dense

Beta program users will get the chance to purchase the application early! Early upgrades will be via PayPal or Amazon Payments only, since IAP won't function for real transactions until we're in the store.
If it gets rejected again they'll let me know why and what changes I need to make to fix it.
Wait, it has been rejected once before?
Wait, it has been rejected once before?
Yeah, it was rejected for incorrect purchasability type on the account upgrade, they've misunderstood my implementation. Appealed to the App Review Board, who should accept my explanation.
$4.99 per Facepunch account
Ha ha.
If the App store fails, then you should release it to Cydia where you can still charge for an app.
Oh. Also, I just wanna say thanks. I was hoping and dreaming for this day, but never actually thought it would happen in my lifetime. Th-thank you....*single tear*
If the App store fails, then you should release it to Cydia where you can still charge for an app.
Cydia is pretty damn useful, but I dislike the fact that it's so god damn fucking slow.

Version 2.0 is available to testers right now, featuring the new single-context design. One of the testers is making a comparison video comparing 3GS FPiOS, 3GS Safari, Android browser on Nexus S, and a tethered and untethered netbook.
Wish I was a tester.

Hexxeh, has this app been tested with the iPhone 2G?
We've been tested on a first generation iPod Touch which is very similar in terms of hardware, like the iPhone 2G without the phone.
Great. I have a 2G so I'll let you know how it works for me.
We've been tested on a first generation iPod Touch which is very similar in terms of hardware, like the iPhone 2G without the phone.
1st Gen. iPod touch isn't that terrible, it can still run most major 3D games, i.e. Zombies, Enigmo, Real Racing, etc. You shouldn't have any major problems unless they're still on iOS 3, which I have no idea why they would other than Jailbreaking
