Rarely, there's not many drugs that are smart to drive on, so generally saying "Don't Drug'n'Drive" is very, very true.
I have driven when high more times than when sober probably, and it really doesn't impact my driving negatively.
I can understand not driving when super smarked out of your balls, but I don't even reach that level anymore.

If something happens though and the police or witness discovers you were high youd be in so much more shit than if you have been sober. Not worth the risk.

If I'm stoned, or on speed, I can drive, and I'm not gonna be arsed to wait to comedown from some weed just to drive somewhere. Even on lower doses of opiates, it's all about using your best judgement. If you're falling asleep or can't see straight, no you shouldn't drive, but otherwise it's not a big deal at all. The only reason everyone has a stick up their ass about driving under influences, at least to me, is because there's such a big deal with drunk driving in the states. And of course you'd be better off sober, but that can be said for anything, but some people don't like being sober at all.

"All about using your best judgment" which would be to NOT drive. Why? Because your judgement is clouded. Whether or not you think you can drive safely while intoxicated doesn't matter you're endangering other people by your recklessness. Using drugs is a victim-less crime but when you start driving while impaired you start putting others at harm which makes me believe you are far from a "responsible drug user".

Bolded part is exactly what Im on about.
Im not arguing about your ability to drive under the influence. No one can forsee accidents and crashes, all Im saying is that if one of these accidents happen, its better to be completely sober than have any drug in your system. My job requires me to have a car, if I was caught drug-driving Id lose my job.

I think if people say they don't like being sober, that's just an excuse to do drugs. I think people just don't know what it's like to be sober after doing drugs for so long. Don't get me wrong I love to be under the influence of whatever just as much as the next guy, but people need to know when to take a break. It's nice being able to have legitimate fun and enjoy life and do enjoyable activities that doesn't involve weed or pills or hallucinogens or whatever.

To be honest, if it's a short distance, I prefer walking over driving when high, especially with friends. It's an adventure of sorts.
There's a convenience store about half a mile away from my neighborhood that's fun to journey to.

I bet in big towns that's great, but up north-- especially in the winter -- it takes 5-20 minutes to get anywhere reasonable (smoke spot, friend's house, etc) and it's still freezing cold outside. As a result we do planned hikes a lot, and spend the whole day smoking/drugging and doing the activity. It's kind of sad, the unplanned adventures are scarce and sitting inside smoking weed gets old unless you're with a really energetic group of friends. The benefit is we often go on 2-3 hour drives all around the state, selling and smoking bud while listening to music. There are some very scenic uninhabited routes in the northeast.
Rule of thumb: If it doesn't come from a plant, don't use it.
Use in moderation and don't drive while high.

No, not at all. Drugs in general tend to be dangerous. There's simply a whole lot more synthetic ones than from nature, but there are plenty of dangerous natural drugs as well.
Not to mention that most are derived from natural substances.

I have tried it before and honestly, it's just too much to handle when your just trying to smoke. I may have to edit my comment to make it say "only girls on their first time" because experienced girls are fine but when I bring them with me they complain about the taste, the smell, how hungry you are, and everything you can think of. Don't hog all the food, even if you are really hungry just share that shit with you're mates. The same goes with drug, share it when you're can and if you're friends are decent enough they share it with you when they sort some out.

Get all responsibilities done before smoking.
Feel good before, during, and after smoking.
Know when to stop and enjoy the high.

Rule number one should be "Always cover your own ass".
I cannot tell you how many times "looking out for #1" has saved my ass at times. The cops were called on me because they found an empty weed bag at my buddy's house and they managed to trace it all the way back to me. They had no proof other than a scent in the bag and therefore I couldn't be charged with possession. In terms of getting caught, even taking precautions at home like putting a towel under the door, opening the window, placing an air freshener near the door, etc. are all ways to cover your own ass. You shouldn't be concerned with the welfare of all of your friends in these types of things. If you have the ability to help a brother out, good on you, but don't put yourself in jeopardy because of it.
