Just because I dont like a fucking block breaking game means that I have no originality ? Yeah, sure.
Yes.
Portal, Bioshock, Just cause 2, Half life 2 episode 2, Saints row 2, Amnesia, Batman Arkham asylum.
He really likes Silent Hill 2 too, if I'm not mistaken.
He really likes Silent Hill 2 too, if I'm not mistaken.
And shadow of the colossus. Also, monty pie-thon, go suck a weiner and go back to your block breaking game.
haha Get Out
haha what?
I can't wait until the reviews Duke Nukem Forever. Again.
I want to buy Minecraft...but i'm worried that I will just play it once and not bother again. Being one of those people that find it hard to concentrate on building something in a video game. Hense why I didn't enjoy LBP to the fully and never really play Garry's Mod.

It's one of those games where you'll find yourself distracted for hours just building something and will pull you back for more. It's worth the $15.
And shadow of the colossus. Also, monty pie-thon, go suck a weiner and go back to your block breaking game.
I just might, considering i'm bi and addicted to Minecraft
They have no originality.
That's a dumb argument, seeing as I've played minecraft and find it boring yet I have the most amazing dreams when I fall asleep. Which incidentally is what I do when I play minecraft, fall asleep. [editline]27th January 2011[/editline] Not knocking the game, to each his own.
Only response to "I dislike Minecraft" : "You're obviously not creative." :downs:
I actually overheard other students at my university talking about (and playing) Minecraft at the student center. It has clearly captured the attention of all ages and demographics.
I don't like minecraft, you got a problem with it ? I played it for few hours, overrated. I spent my hour punching blocks in the day, building some box fort in the night and then doing that all over again, the random level generator is pretty impressive but other than that it is quite mediocre. I just dont see what people find so great about it.
You never found a natural cave? Never decided to work on a piece of art? At first it's about survival, then it's about skill. How much you can get done with how much efficiency and talent.
I prefer Dwarf Fortress.
This game gets old quick, I cannot believe he liked it.
There's a difference between a challenging, fun, interactive game- and one that simply makes a simple task take hours rather than minutes. Just because you have to look for hours to find a mine to build a house that takes more hours and then gather supplies and sit in a house for the night to avoid dying which is more time doesn't make the game full of depth.
What the hell? Chrome told me that Escapist gives me malware... wtf
Never heard of this reviewer before. Thank you OP I now have yet another internet series to watch
Did he just say that garrysmod is better than minecraft? What the fuck is wrong with him
I wish I didn't get such an awful frame rate from Minecraft otherwise I'd play it more. I don't understand how a game that looks so basic can be so jerky all of the time yet STALKER flows smoother than my faecal matter after eating Weetabix.
It's the leaf decay code being unoptimized as fuck. [editline]27th January 2011[/editline]
Did he just say that garrysmod is better than minecraft? kamikaze shrubs!!
Best part was the bit about the Vietnam war.
JC2, Portal, Orange Box, and this were given positive "reviews".
And Arkham Asylum. The only thing he didn't like about that was the box art.
You never found a natural cave? Never decided to work on a piece of art? At first it's about survival, then it's about skill. Both block-based 3d worlds and sandbox survival games has been around forever.
And it's nice to see him being witty without being harsh. It's kind of funnier this way.
Plus, he actually got past the first hour of gameplay, which is surprising considering he never finished the tutorial stages in Monster Hunter and played about an hour and a half of Demon's Souls before giving up.
I realized i'm a fan boy by how much I got offended when he said something bad about gmod.
This review made me happy.
People who compare minecraft to lego have never played blockland, which can, and has replicated minecraft using lua scripts.
Never played Minecraft. I assume it's bad.
Minecraft is really Tetris of this decade, simple and addictive. Notch just like Pazjitnov, did hit bullseye. [editline]27th January 2011[/editline]
you people do not seem to understand this it's not a bad game, I quite like it but all the ridiculous amounts of attention it gets is just annoying
Does it draw all the attention from your Calls of Twitching and Worlds of Grinding? Well bu-fucking-hu.

And no, it gets so many articles a day on the best gaming websites MERELY for the fact it is a popular indie game which is full of "depth".
