Thought you guys should see this
Yeah the Tor got fucked badly. It was monitored for 6 months now anyways.
Shortened version of that link: Tor was monitored for around 6 months, the owner of FH (it hosted most of services, including cheesepizzas) got arrested 'two days ago', and since then FBI distributed backdoors through javascript exploit in Firefox 17 (yes, the one in bundle..). And yes, javascript WAS enabled in default bundle, unless you disabled it yourself, noscript didn't help.
If you were in past 2 days on a site, and it was undercoming 'maintenance' then you got a backdoor. I don't know the host of silk road, but i wouldn't trust Tor now.
EDIT: 4chan thread http://boards.4chan.org/b/res/497691156
SR is fine and safe. Disable javascript and move along folks.

Even if it does get "compromised" I highly HIGHLY doubt they will go after anyone but the sellers/people buying kilos at a time. It would take too many resources just to go after that dude that buys a quarter/gram of whatever off the internet once in a while.
I'd love to hear Mindtwistah's opinion on this. If it's gonna affect the price of Bitcoins and what not.
oh it should
It's been well over a day since this news and price is climbing, I really doubt it will have any effect whatsoever on the market. It could be a factor for uncertainty if coupled with other related, slightly more major news which might cause some minor temporary turbulence, but as far as we know this whole thing has mostly been confined to pedophile circles which don't even necessarily come in contact with bitcoin, and even if they did it would be less than a hundredth of a percentage of bitcoin users affected (Tor != BTC).
Now if Silk Road was compromised that would be a different story, but it is not. DPR himself announced that SR was not hosted on Freedom Hosting and that the same security vulnerabilities leading to the arrest were not present in the site nor with him. The main important news for SR users from this is that Tormail is probably no longer reliable which might cause some anxiety with vendors and customers who were conducting business using this service without PGP encryption, but it's nothing vital enough to make the sky fall.
This is not even taking into account summer is almost over, people are returning home from vacation and buying in again which will make a panic drop even less likely.
I'm still betting on lucif's ping-pong triangle to hold.

Has anyone ever told you, That you eat way to many vegetables? Please stop the human brain can only carry so much information before it implodes.
dr oz hasn't arrived yet, tomorrow will be a week , lets hope for the best
My DMT took 10 days while my 2C-B took 4 days, both times. Wait at least 2 weeks before you take it up with the vendors
My MDMA pack took just over 2 weeks.
-snip-
It really depends if the package is domestic or international. Domestic, I've had stuff come in as little as 2 days after clicking "Submit Order." International really varies. The fastest I've experienced is 6 days, and the longest was 32 days.
I was just going to inquire about shipping times, thank you both
I've gotten a package the same day I bought it, ordered it at 7 in the morning, got it at around 8 at night.

Bitstamp's website is nicer anyway
in the process of registering on cavirtex, looking forward to ordering off silk road
OTC is a clusterfuck so far. Someone offered to trade for my moneypak, someone immediately called out that guy as a scammer. The person who called him out as a scammer is also a scammer apparently. The guy I wanted to trade with is going to rate me negative for wasting his time.
I have some bitcoins i'll sell for MP. PM me in otc right now, name is nystorm. I'm also talking to the scammer hamcheese as well.
package from customs and police agency .. hmm
-snip-
package from customs and police agency .. hmm
well you probably ordered from a bad vendor, large amount (ounces i think), and you didn't buy it domestically.
i think that's your fault

You'll be able to see reviews and ratings, and you should always check the forums for info on the seller too.
