Oh wait it's in eight days from now and says "finalize" or resolve. Obviously I'm not going to finalize unless I receive it. What's the general practice here? If I hit resolve am I prompted to contact the seller or what? I spent a hundred dollars or so, which isn't going to break the bank, but I'd like some back if I don't receive the product I ordered.

Then I'd message the seller first before hitting the resolve button(don't finalize if he tells you to unless you really trust him for some strange reason). Then I'd make sure to resolve before the deadline, if the seller doesn't have you do it sooner or the problem is not resolved.
Okay. I'm going to wait longer and was planning on that from the start, but I didn't know how far along the line I was expected to contact them (and how I am- do some of them only do it through encryption keys or something?).

For small talk without personal info, I generally don't use it. Anyways, here is a good guide to using pgp. Ordered my first item today, pretty nervous.
Atlantis is going to be shut down with not much explaination behind it. I just hope I get my refund from one vendor whose package did not arrive.
Alright well my order just got cancelled, no idea why.
[QUOTE=GhostProject;42274384]Alright well my order just got cancelled, no idea why.[/QUOTE]You probably didn't encrypt your address if they require it, they might have ran out of stock, it may say on their order page that they don't allow new customers, etc. You probably did something wrong.
I'm not sure if I did anything wrong. The seller didn't specify if I was supposed to encrypt my address etc.
Damn... I'm not getting my acid. The auto resolve date is in a couple days. Guess I have to talk to the seller. That's so disappointing. That's a hundred and fifteen dollars that's probably going down the toilet because I'm a first time buyer and I don't think they give much of a refund for us.

If it doesn't then talk to seller about a refund/reship.
[QUOTE=TehWhale;42287470]"Resolve" and choose to extend it for another 10 days or so to see if it'll arrive. I'm sorry you're seemingly getting ripped off like this, dude. I've been there. You'll find the right path eventually. Seems to be down for me... right when I need a price check. Ah well. That's my luck. :v:
Reordered my stuff today, hopefully all goes well. Had to encrypt my ship address and stuff. [editline]dsf[/editline] Vendor I ordered my stuff from is asking to FE, I'm a bit shakey about this as I am a first time buyer. The guy's username is " Cannaisseur", he/she's been around for about 4 months, but has completed over 300 transactions and has gotten a lot of reviews claiming to be a trusted seller. I'm just worried that he might screw over new buyers. Should I pull the trigger on the finalizing stuff?

It's not generally a good idea, but some vendors require it since you're new with no transactions.

so i signed up for localbitcoins today, got some, and am in the process of transferring funds to the sr account. how long does it usually take? it says 10-60 minutes for like 6 or so confirmations. i also got some black widow so i'm gonna chill to that and fall asleep. maybe place the order tomorrow.

VirWox decided to screw up my 24 hour limit because I had to go back and edit a deposit, but ended up cancelling it, and the 24 hour limit thing still thought I went through with the deposit. I now have to wait till tomorrow to get my goodies. Ah well. :v:
well.. i've had that silk road account for like two years, and i completely forgot about the pin and what i set it to. apparently after 72 hours it lets me change it. better luck in 3 days, i guess.

I did FE and he claimed to have sent it, and I just asked for tracking and he has not given it to me and it has been like 2 months soon and he talked lots of bullshit claiming to be sent on different days and stuff.
Fucking shit. I made my first purchase with Jannis, who is said to be an upstanding seller. I spent around one hundred dollars, and it has not arrived. I extended the resolution date and asked him for a forty percent refund (which is what he states as his default refund for those who spent 100$) and he denied me any refund whatsoever due to the fact that I have yet to complete an order. My fault for assuming this would work, I suppose. My fault for spending an amount of money that I would get upset with losing first as well. [editline]26th September 2013[/editline] This is still fucking shit.
I got mail! (First & successful transaction, so excited!!)
In the time VirWox made me wait... the seller took the item off that I was going to buy. Fuck. My favorite and preferred seller is restocked though, so I'll take this as a good sign.

New guys are most often scammers who claim their package never arrives. You two need to realize it works both ways. The seller risks losing product, and you risk losing money. It happens with something like SR. Deal with it. Stop being little bitches.
Yes. There's a lot of people that fuck around on the online blackmarket. My tf2 trading experience is the only reason I probably haven't been scammed yet, it made me skeptical and cynical.

It's nice to be able to vent somewhere, and SR is certainly not the place to bitch. Rather than get mad in the resolution center, which wouldn't solve anything and isn't fair to the seller in the first place, I complained here.

It sucks for you, but someone has to be the person missing out so others may not. Sorry you didn't get your drugs, for what it's worth.
should i also include a message to the seller, other than my address, in the area that says please enter your name and address as it would be written on a letter?
