You just enter your address, usually.
should i also include a message to the seller, other than my address, in the area that says please enter your name and address as it would be written on a letter?
Check the seller's page to see if the seller requires an encryption key. If so, check out this guide PGP encryption could be pretty annoying. I unfortunately cannot find the guide I used to help me encrypt my address, but I use Kleopatra as my encyption program.
well i don't know what the fuck pgp is, but the seller required it, so i took his public code and put it in the javascript reader, then typed my address and encrypted that, and sent it to him. i guess that's right. dope
PGP seems daunting at first but it's actually quite nice once you do it once
-snip- Oh well
yes there are vendors from all over the world odds of getting ripped off by trusted vendors? how the fuck are we supposed to answer that use some common sense
So basically let me get this straight. In order for this site to work safely I need. Tor Browser PGP Encryption Using Silk Roads Bit Coin Tumbler Checking out Vendors before buying / watching out for scammers Thats it? Because thats something even I can get up and running. Are all countries supported? Say, I could order from an austrian vendor for example? What are the odds of getting ripped off even if you check the vendors credibility beforehand? This site seems awesome but almost too good to be true. Any help on the many questions I have?
PGP encryption isnt necessary, but adds to security. And silkroad automatically tumbles the coins.
I'm trying to access Silk Road through the wikipedia link using Tor, and I'm greeted by this. Is anyone else seeing this shit?

So can they do anything with any stored customer information?
Most customer information is false or used tormail. I'm not even sure they have access to that data and if they did I can't think of anything they could do with it. Maybe access tormail accounts assuming the emails and passwords are the same?
they wont chase the customers, maybe some sellers but prob not
Who would have expected that? Apparently the owner of the site had hitmans hired for some guy that tried to blackmail him, atleast thats whats the the news node says.
The guy was threatening to release information of Silk Road users.
I am literally so fucking pissed right now it's ridiculous FUCK THE DEA
http://bitcoinity.org/markets Well well well.... there may be investment oppourtunities on the horizen.
Lost $10 to sillky. Damn, sounds like only BMR is left, hopefully more sellers will move over there. Must suck for people that had more bitcoins. Actually, either my friend or a vendor just lost a thousand dollars, shit. Hope he sent it out and considered us experienced enough. Fuck the DEA, hope nobody lets this stop them. Also get your shit together tor websites, tormail went down and now this.
Goodnight, sweet prince :'( This is not the end of an era though. There are other alternatives (BMR, Sheep Marketplace), and with the amount of money DPR was making, coupled with the fact that all those customers now have no place to go, there will be even more sites opening up. Seems that the arrest was due to his carelessness. Real shame, I trusted someone running such a high-profile site would take more precautions. On the bright side it's the perfect opportunity to trade on the crash, already made enough to cover what little I had on my SR account and more.
Shit, I hope I at least get the package I ordered.
dudes we must group up, and make a nuclear bomb from all the drug money we earn on the streetz so we can plan to blow up the FBI buildings in america! We can prevent this from happening again!!! im making a fundraser for a bomb it will be a plublic site they will never see this coming!
Truly a saddening state of affairs. I wonder if there will be any significant risk to the small-time buyers.
got my last package today, sadly i didnt get to finalize in time :(
rip in pieces silkroad
Now how am I supposed to get non-shitty weed without dealing with sketchy people?
