Has anyone had a successful transaction off the new silkroad yet? Wanna know if it's a honeypot
Well many online users are claiming its a FBI sting operation to get more vendors and buyers. Don't know how much I believe that though. It was created by the mods of the original silk road, and many people come to the conclusion that everything from the first silk road marketplace is compromised.
Well if the old jolly roger that got caught decided to drop any names (if he knew them), it wouldn't be that hard for the govt to track them down/operate under their pretense. I'd be skeptical of the revived SR for a while
Damn I love following the rallies and seeing this 350 proved absolutely no resistance at all. At this rate we'll whiz past 500 by the beginning of next week, if not sooner.
Oh my I sold at 210 fuck me in gonna buy again
Oh my I sold at 210 fuck me in gonna buy again
This time don't panic sell at corrections :p
Testing BMR will post back in a week with updates.
Testing BMR will post back in a week with updates.
BMR works fine, I just got my first order. It's a little hard to navigate for somebody just getting used to it after using SR, too many buttons and screens to go through to get to where you want. Plus the grammar is kinda funky also. The admins of BMR love to use the contraction "You've" which makes some of the mouse-over texts sound funny (ex. if you mouse over the inbox image, it says: "You've no messages!"). IDK if its just me or it just sounds funny to say it like that. I do like that it tells you what you really need to know when making an order. For example on the page with your order details, it says to NOT release escrow unless you have gotten what you paid for in big yellow text for noobs. Its also cool that you can release the shipping escrow seperately from the main escrow. I dislike how when you click "buy" to get a product, it tells you the amount of bitcoins you need MINUS the amount for shipping, I think it should tell you that you need the FULL amount including shipping to get this product. There really isn't a "shopping cart" you can put products in and buy them later. Honestly theres a lot of good and bad on BMR when it comes to it's functionality, but its a good alternative to SR in my opinion
I browsed the old SR but never ordered. BMR is functional enough: trying out the new SR it's like it has zero features.
I missed SilkRoad. Only place to get high grade DMT for me.
I missed SilkRoad. Only place to get high grade DMT for me.
there is high grade on sheep.
It would seem we're either in wave (4) or (3). If the first is true, which I'm more inclined to believe, that would mean we're progressing from A to B and will see another correction shortly possibly taking us even further down than the last one before making the massive climb to (5). If the second is true we're currently at 4->5 and will also see a correction soon as well as enter the corrective 4th wave. Might be wrong though, still just learning Technical Analysis and especially Elliott waves so don't take this as a guarantee!
That, or I've misinterpreted the charts and we're actually on C->1 of wave (5) [t]http://i.imgur.com/lw1upP8.png[/t] I guess we'll find out soon enough [editline]11th November 2013[/editline] Damn automerge
So when should I panic sell?
When we're on the moon!
Fuck it I'm gonna actually jump on the train this time. I missed every other one, so I'll try to buy in if it dips down again. The only thing I'm confused about it selling. Is it as simple as pressing a button labelled "sell"? Or do I need to find a buyer?
There are always a number of buy orders and sell orders on the exchanges, as is represented by the green (buy) and red (sell) lines on the second chart here: http://bitcoinity.org/markets/bitstamp/USD When you do a simple sell (enter the number of bitcoins you want to sell and press the button) it will automatically sell to the highest priced buy order available, and vice versa for buying. You can also do an advanced order by entering the amount of bitcoins you want to sell as well as what price you want to sell them at and wait for your order to be filled. Note that when the market is moving very fast there's a chance your simple buy or sell order won't be filled, especially when accounting for trade engine lag (which might only be a few seconds but still plenty enough for the price to move considerably). So if for example the price is crashing, you are more likely to get your bitcoins sold by placing a sell order below the current price. On other notes I have made some estimations for the top of this bull market by referencing the 2011 and 2013 bubbles and approximating where we might be now. If we are truly entering wave 5 price should reach 650-700 before the pop, however based on another reference point it should go to around 1200. I have no idea if this will hold true, I'm just basing it on previous bubble logic and wave patterns, but I'll proceed with caution around those price points.
btc is 420!!
Saw a buy with 4.20 btc at $420 in the orderbook lol
So I purchased 600 dollars worth of bitcoin when it was at 350. Gonna ride the bubble to at least 450 awwwh yeah
Honest opinions... Is this a bubble? or is it gonna keep on climbing? if it drops below 200 im buying..,
Yes it's a bubble, though not as profound as the previous two. Climb will continue until we crash hard. I expect bottom at 150-250, possibly 100 but that doesn't seem likely given previous bubble crashes and their floors.
So I'm a student who recently moved into a dorm and that's giving me trouble when I want to verify myself to these services. MtGox I couldn't get to the point of buying/selling at all. Coinbase I can buy, but with a delay of like a week for each purchase. What service should I use?
Use localbitcoins.com I bought like .6 of a bitcoin for BMR through PayPal too. I recommend it anyway
silkroadp6yx2eo2.onion Silkroad 2.0 is out gentlemen. We rise again. silkroadp6yx2eo2.onion
Pretty sure that's not the link to SR 2.0. The SR subreddit has a link for SR 2.0 as silkroad6ownowfk.onion and on the new DPR's twitter it has a link to silkroad6ownowfk.onion too.
RIP Silkroad!
