I think the door swings both ways in the argument that we couldnt see light from stars millions of lightyears away if the universe were only several thousand years old. One could theorize that from the moment of creation some light has been reaching us, so that we never really had to wait to see it, or more logically, there are uncertanties to the accuracy of things like carbon dating, and how we see things through telescopes. Perhaps what we currently believe to be millions of lightyears away is merely thousands? And carbon dating isnt a sure way to tell the age of something, though much stock is placed in it.
We don't "think" stars are light years away from us, we know it, that's not a scientific fact someone could argue over also, carbon dating is not accurate but it is true and it relies on the fact that these kind of molecules slowly degrades into another molecule and we can compare initial amount (we observe now) to the amount we find in the ground and stuff. Anyway, I will agree with you, science does not know everything, in fact it is more accurate to say it knows nothing than to say it knows everything though, not knowing an answer is no reason to invent it with any fairy tales or myths you could come up with.
Luck is shit happening randomly, but in good favor to the individual. Do you believe in luck?
I think you look at it with too negative a connotation. This is my personal theory, I back this up with little to no evidence, But my theory is that humans are actually not native to Earth, I think we came here from another planet after we finished using it; In a colony ship that could support us for hundreds, If not thousands of years while we searched for a new host. Our history before the ship would be totally lost [Especially if the ship crashed on a planet and power was lost [[In the case of digital, Using electronic data storage.]]] I The real goal in my opinion is not to destroy planets, [Though doing so fulfills some purpose I think, Possibly creating stars.], but to spread to every possible planet, And make the universe self-concious through the collective consciousness of humanity. What d'you guys think of this?
i think it sucks
