the character has become the actual content of his show. he's officially lost it. mr. hyde has come forth.
The "Fuck Konami" phase was just the alarm sounding off. I found it to be really immature despite the actual reasoning behind it.
Anger over political correctness overseas won't affect their studio and won't sway many sales away from the people who'd consider buying tiddyball in the first place.
The social justice minded people obsessed about offending people are just like the religious moral crusaders of the 90s and 80s. Sure they won't ever enjoy the media themselves but they'll affect it by being a loud voice.
I'm trying to get a read on what people's opinions on all this are. This is all a personal endeavor, and not my homework assignment or anything. This is for people who believe that it's a bad thing if Koei Tecmo doesn't sell DoA Xtreme 3 in the West out of fear of backlash from feminists. Is this a bad thing because games being pushed out of the market because of political content is bad, or is it because games being pushed out of the market in a way that validates modern pop feminism is bad? Is it bad for some reason which I'm not accounting for? If a game had political content that you disagreed with or found abhorrent, such as white supremacy, for example, and was being withheld from a market out of concerns for backlash or negative profit margin as a result of the backlash, would that be a bad thing? If a game had political content that was in line with the values of modern pop feminism, and was being withheld from a market out of concerns for backlash or negative profit margin as a result of the backlash, would that be a good thing? If a game had political content that was in line with the values of modern pop feminism and was selling really well and was being promoted a lot, would that be a bad thing? Would it be a bad thing if it was selling really well and being promoted a lot because it shared its values with modern pop feminism? Is what is going on censorship? If so, which party is doing the censoring, and how do you personally understand the meaning of censorship? If this comes across as a battery of pointed rhetorical questions meant to push a particular argument, I don't intend for it to do so, and I'd appreciate if you could assume good faith on my part and answer these questions as honestly as you can.
While the game itself isn't being withheld from release entirely, people who want it will have to spend an extra chunk of money just to import it, and that chunk of money is just enough to break the deal for most. Yes you can make the whole " Wah but it's just another $40, what's the big deal? ", but again, to most $60 looks a lot more attractive than $100. This is probably going to really hurt sales in one of the places their game sells the best.

Hatsune miku project diva is released in the US and all it has is english text.

Example being only bring over the mediocre cookie cutter products, while not bringing over any of the products that actually get praise.
:)
Can we please set up a kickstarter or something so this guy finally receives the psychological treatment that he's so desperately in need of?
