I always seem to wake up RIGHT before my mom yells for me to get up.

I've noticed the same thing. Even when i set the alarm to a different time every day, i always wake up exactly 2 minutes away from it.
Your body knows exactly for how long it's been sleeping. If you get used to or focus on waking up at a certain time, then it will. Maybe not on the first tries, but you can tell yourself to wake up at a certain time and the body will do so.
It's perfectly normal and just means that you've got yourself a good healthy routine, unlike other people like me that tries to sleep for as long as possible, meaning 12-14 hours of sleep, which isn't really healthy at all.
You're used to the alarm enough that you'll wake up before it goes off. I sometimes wake up a minute or so before the alarm goes off, which can get annoying. Especially when I first see the alarm, it goes off and I jump out of bed.

That used to happen to me until I got a cat.
The kitty is my alarm clock, he hits me in the head multiple times until I get up

I have no rythym, I go to sleep and wake up at differing times every single day.
I always wake up at 6.50 at school days even without alarms

I usually wake up at 5:45, and i wake up either 5 minutes before my alarm or when my alarm goes off.
Today, cause it's saturday, i set my alarm for 6:30, and i woke up at 6:20ish.
Weird.

I had some weird dream once, there was some kind of a countdown. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1, then exactly at 0 the alarm went off. :aaaaa:
I wake up at 6-8ish on the weekends without an alarm, because I'm so used to it on the weekdays. Fucking sucks man.
I've been having this weird thing lately where every day I'll look at the clock just when it happens to be 2:11. EVERY DAY.

I do the same thing man.
When you set the time back 30 minutes you did it with intention to trick yourself. It's like someone telling you not to do something and so you do it. But it all happens sub-consciously.
Every morning I wake up at four a.m. to use the bathroom. That's TWO HOURS before my alarm goes off.

Your mind knows when the time is set, and I have determined since this happened to me many many many many many many times, that your body still knows what time it is no matter what even if your not physically conscious your mind/body still knows what time it is. So when your body gets to know when your alarm is about to go off it gets like anxious and wakes up for you because it became to anxious or something.
That's just what I concluded it as XD I don't know if I am right though.
I mean just the other day, I was having a dream that I was taking a dump in my upstairs bathroom, and someone knocked on the door and I said "Someones in here" I got to "Someones" then I woke up and I heard myself say "in here" when I was awake. I mean it was probably the weirdest thing I have ever experienced.
I always wake up about 15-30 minutes before my alarm goes off. It's kinda weird just laying awake there just waiting for the alarm to go off, then it does.
I don't have an alarm. I wake up at 6:00 every day (except weekends).

It would be hilarious if every scientific report ended with this.
One time I woke up about 5 seconds before the alarm, and I was slapping the clock around trying to find the snooze button so the amazingly loud and annoying alarm doesn't piss me off.
Does anybody else cringe at the sound of an alarm clock?

Same thing happens to me. I also wake up right before my parents open my door to tell me to wake up when I sleep in on weekends.

Well you're kinda suppost to feel that way.....it's how the alarm wakes you up. It's just doing its job. If an alarm was soothing and quiet, we would sleep-in all the time (basically it would be the same way it would be with not having an alarm go off at all). It's fucking science man :science:.

i think that happened to me too back last December. This weak i woke up like an hour before i get up,and i was to lazy to go to the bathroom so i could sleep, I was tired that day.:sigh:
