When I was younger I had a Garfield alarm clock.
The alarm was sung by Garfield in a horrifying creepy MEOW MEOW
After a few days I started waking up like 10 minutes before the clock went off I was so terrified of it. Not to even mention how incredibly loud it was - probably broke a few laws of public order
Still have it in my drawer but there's no way in hell i'm putting batteries in that thing.

its strange. i get perfect timing. all the time. no matter what. its like my brain is counting the seconds without me.
Me too. Let's start a club. :buddy::hf::buddy:
You got the rythim my friend.
This happens to me sometimes. It's really annoying waking up then seeing you have 5 more minutes to sleep.
Also, I now have to put my alarm clock across the room because I would always turn it off while sleeping and then be late for school.
I don't bother with alarms except as an insurance method, if you get into a routine, you'll wake up automatically.
The human body is pretty awesome. I've always had my alarm set to go off at 7am yet I always get up at like 6:50ish. Must be because I really hate the sound of alarms.
This happens to me also.
You have a routine, congratulations on your easy instinctive timekeeping abilities
:argh:
My alarm clock makes this rather suttle plastic tick just before it starts ringing. I usually wake up to that plastic noise before the ringing even begins. :P
I am the same way
you just have a good inside clock, be grateful.
I do this but one or two minutes before nearly every morning, really wierd...
What a coincidence, I wake up (approximately) 5 minutes after my first class.
i always wake up right before my alarm
I wake up when my alarm goes off, unlike most people in this thread...for some reason...
I sleep through my alarm. But my dreams suddenly form around the sound of the alarm.
Damn. I've been waking up for the past few weeks about 10-30 minutes before my phone's alarm and I was going to make a thread about this but then I refreshed the general discussion. Everyone gets a :buddy::hf::buddy:
I wake up at 8.15 every day unless I have something to wake me up. I'm a teenager. I'm meant to wake up at midday on weekends, the hell is wrong with me.
I get this when it is in relation to food, as for waking up i don't use alarms, but i always instictively wake up at 6 (on a school day)
use my phone so I wake up to music
I actually need to start using my Alarm again. I have a terrible habit of waking up late.
Yeah I have this too, except I usually wake up around 5-5:10 every morning. It only started this year. I have to go back to sleep and then get up at 6:00.
On the weekends I have done the same thing, but most of the time my brain lets me sleep in.
Probably because no one likes hearing their alarm.
I know I don't, if by some chance I am awoken by the alarm itself, I usually smack it off the table to where it lays against the bed and vibrates, scaring the shit out of me.

I liked the world before the Butlerian Jihad. :(

Yeah, mine starts hissing at a barely audible volume for one second.
I wake up at 7:30 if i've overslept every day.
how is this related to drugs
The effects of Stalins rule has lead to creation of a new, more advanced race.
Americans.
i always wake up at 5:34, then get mad and unplug my alarm clock because it goes off at 5:30.
I do that with my cellphone, I text someone, and then when I pick up the phone again, I receive the answer.
I do this.
It's creepy.
I just pull it out of my pocket and then it vibrates.
