Haha! This made my day. :v:
Irish pound (No longer in circulation)
I miss it! :frown:
ive seen people use coins in their ears, is that wasting the money?
All British Money, as no one else has posted it yet:
A £5 note. (a fiver)

A £10 note.

The newest design of £20 note.

A £50 note, although a lot of shops and places don't accept these readily any more. They aren't that common.

Here are the coins:

But when arranged like so...

...form a shield! Which is pretty cool, as far as money goes i guess. :)
Pounds are The UK's Currency. They were made back in 1300 or so and Are pretty cool looking. Im guessing has Queens and stuff on it. The welsh one has A dragon on it, Too.
Not really. The UK decimalize the currency in 1971 so before that a pound wasn't really what we have today.
Before 1971:
1 Pound = 20 Shillings = 240 Pence
Now:
1 Pound = 100 Pence
:saddowns: i wish i had more money

It's easy! Become a prostitute, or a Jew. Either will make you rich fast. ^_^
The Kuwaiti Dinar
Highest valued currency unit in the world, meaning that any 1 unit of any country's currency is never equivalent to > 1 KWD. Not my home country but I used to live there.

There's also coins: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 "fils" where 1000 fils = 1 KWD
1 Kuwaiti dinar = 3.49345 U.S. dollars.
And my home country's shitty currency, 16th least valued unit in the world: The Lebanese Pound, $1 = 1,500 LBP. We use US dollars along with LBP here as well and the exchange rate is fixed at that level. There used to be days where you could buy a car for 5,000 LBP...now you can only buy a few bottles of fruit juice with that.

Coins are 100 (rarely used), 250, 500 pounds.
Country used to be a French mandate up until WW2, but French has stuck around as an official language along with Arabic and English. That explains why the notes are in Arabic and French.
