Hmm, I can't seem to login to ftp. Should I be trying to login using the ip above or the original ip?
use the ip address - your user name - password - port 21 is that what you are trying? getting any errors messages?
use the ip address - your user name - password - port 21 is that what you are trying? getting any errors messages?
Well I tried with my username and password for TCAdmin (which as far as the email suggested was always the username and password for the ftp account aswell). I've tried accessing with these details on both these ip addresses: 188.40.118.19 178.63.146.22 Both on port 21 with no encryption using WinSCP and the online ftp client through TCAdmin and FileZilla. WinSCP just says User 'AHMEDK' or password is not valid. FileZilla says: 500 User 'AHMEDK' or password is not valid... Critical Error could not connect to server. The online FTP client (file manager thing) says Service ID is not valid. My user name is AHMEDK, the password is, well the one I got sent through with TCAdmin. Cheers for your help guys.

However I'll have to download over 40 files one by one XD. Oh well. It's better than nothing :). Edit: 40, who was I kidding, must be running into over 1000 now, especially with the log files :'(. Anyway, I'm nearly done, never look a gift horse in the mouth. One thing I did notice is all of the other clients on that server, barely configured there servers! What a surprise, I thought nearly everybody used sourcemod XD. Right ok, for all people from now on. DON'T BE STUPID LIKE ME. USE DOWNTHEMALL FOR FIREFOX. I sort of gave up like 1/3 of the way through 1078 log files XD.
Yeah, go just as fast. However I'll have to download over 40 files one by one XD. Oh well. It's better than nothing :).
wget -r
wget -r
wget -r -np Otherwise you'd end up downloading everyone's files for that IP.
The new company details will be announced as soon as possible. We found it far more important to first restore services (albiet temporarily) to help our stranded, valued, and loyal clients. Our next step, of course, is to structure a new venture to provide the quality services you've all come to expect from our dedicated team. - Omar
Rofl'd extremely hard at that last part.
Rofl'd extremely hard at that last part.
?? i've been rereading that a few times and....??? lil help please?
?? i've been rereading that a few times and....??? lil help please?
This part: "the quality services you've all come to expect from our dedicated team." The people I know who paid for the service of brohoster, got screwed over... Nothing quality about it.

Nothing quality about it.
though i see amc replied to this as well. i'm kinda guessing you maybe haven't been following any of the info that's been posted by our team, the staff of bh. so feel free to have an opinion but make sure you KNOW the staff of bh, brian and sl is the ONLY reason the servers are even online now. so please start at the beginning of this thread if you haven't yet and then let us know if our dedication deserves questioning. we were screwed too
<removed post due to being really tired and posting this in the thread instead of the op>
When exactly are the servers going down for good?
When exactly are the servers going down for good?
http://www.phoenixerve.com/lifepreserver TTD is less than 24 hours. [editline]2nd August 2011[/editline] Oh, Andrew: I sent you money only before I realized you were hosting Terraria servers with tMod, not TShock. Not that you don't deserve the money, though.
lol, it's not like we're not going to host with TShock in the future. I couldn't implement it back when I was active with Brohoster because I had 3 jobs to take care of at the time. We were literally just understaffed and there was nothing I could do about it. I apologize for that, because I understand priority balance is very crucial, and as a direct result of my specific prioritizing, you didn't see TShock on the network. I had to technically skip some of my duties to get tMod up for clients as it was. [editline]1st August 2011[/editline] Our response times for tickets were becoming horrible because Club Uptime cut a lot of people, and I didn't want them to be even worse than they were, so I had to juggle testing mod scalability on the network as well as take care of loads a' support tickets a day on little sleep.
hi everyone. small update. we've been let know that the servers will be left on for appprox another 14.5 from now - currently 11:30 est. if anyone still needs their data or help recovering please email me at tdetlor (at) phoenixerve (dot) com as i won't be as available as i have been but i will get back to you asap! thanks!
URGENT MESSAGE: To anyone who may be missing their data still, be it you were late to the party, or whatever... PM me here for potential salvation and back ups. Many thanks to Softlayer, and all those else who made those 72 hours of back ups possible. And many thanks to the group that made this new extension possible.
